Depends on what the thing is. If it was something important and valuable, "you know how it is, making time for knowledge is not optional" or something along those lines would be pretty good.
But if it's something like the breeding patterns of Malaysian supermassive cicadas or some kind of D&D factoid or something else like that, you'd need something else.
T b h probably can't go wrong with "nah" or "not really". Pretty direct shut down and doesn't give them much to disagree with.
