Ive been going through rough family shit for a while now and i think its taken a toll on me. Whenever i hear a phone ringing it stresses me out and i cant help but count down the days until the next time i see them (weekly occurrence)
It makes me feel so anxious and pathetic. How do i stop being this way?

Have you considered therapy?

Ive been recommended it a couple times but i have no money or time. I also dont want to seem unreliable, a lot of my role is being a carer.

You don't have time? You mean you're not willing to make the time to improve your life.
Regarding money, have you looked into options that are without cost? Probably not because you apparently don't have time.
There is no advice anyone can give you here if you're not willing to put time and effort into yourself.

you are not pathetic. it's that simple.

see how things work out practically and try to produce an outcome where you never interact with them ever again.
