But once you save up that first 100k generating let's say even a small 3-5% a year in interest it gets much easier. That's 5k a year you don't have to work for. After that you get to 200k, and now it's generation 10k-12k a year. and saving becomes both fun and easier.
Than like me you get to 1.7 mil at 35, generating 8% so 136k a year without working on it and by that point you can live on that alone.
