How do I stop feeling stupid over the embarrassing cringe phases of social awkwardness I went through as a teenager a decade ago?
>>32594672I'm sure I'm nothing short of embarrassing moments in my life, but I can't even remember them. The stuff that stands out about my past for me is always the shit that cheers me up. You have fond memories to counteract the shitty ones, right?
>>32594672No one else remembers.
>>32594672You have to understand that everyone did embarrassing, stupid, regrettable, foolish, impulsive, rash, emotional, and/or cringe things back then, because that's what teenagers do. Your mind was not finished developing and was in an awkward place. Everyone else also has memories that haunt them like this, you just weren't paying attention to theirs or didn't witness it. The same goes for your actions; most people don't remember embarrassing things you did.

>>32594672Accept that you did the best with what you had at your disposal in that moment. When the memories come, don't respond to them emotionally, don't go "Fuck I was cringe" but rather just observe them and let them pass. Like watching trains at a station but not getting on any of them.
>>32594672Every single person only remembers their own cringe moments just like youMeaning they’re all busy thinking about themselves and they’re indifferent to you.Additionally, understand that you
>>32594672Everything passes mate
>>32595653Understand that you are still growing and gaining social skills you are gonna make some mistakes and that’s oka
>>32594672realize that you're different now and that no one else is wasting their time thinking about your embarrassing moments, especially if they're not in your life anymore.
