I dropped out of universities more times than I can count. Currently doing a CS foundation degree but it’s getting too hard for me. Should I switch to finance after I finish? And if yes what jobs should I be looking at?

finance can be harder and will be more gruelling
>>
if you've flunked out of college more than twice its time to make peace with the fact that you are not meant for that and should start other paths instead of wasting your time giving professor sheklestine your money. if you had spent the same amount of time working a trade you would be in a much better situation than you find yourself in now
>>
why are you doing a cs degree?
because you like computers or because you heard there's a lot of money to be had?

how is it too hard?
how far along are you?

I’m based in uk, it’s not easy getting a trade here.
>>32595259
Pretty much the money, yeah. It’s too hard in the sense it’s so ambiguous coding wise and I have no idea where to even begin. I’m doing a foundation year, which is basically a first year but if you don’t have the grades to qualify for the course.

Why do you keep in university if you're clueless about what you want to do? If you're struggling that much and don't want to stall then just take GenEd classes until you figure it out, but asking random internet strangers to plan your life for you is retarded.

>Pretty much the money, yeah.
get the fuck out, people like you are ruining the fucking industry
>>
>>32595236
How?
>>32595302
I haven’t even graduated lmao

>I haven’t even graduated lmao
I mean gtfo the cs program, go shit up another degree/industry with your cash grab
>>
>>32595296
There’s no GenEd classes in britanistan bro, we don’t have the opportunities americans do. Everyone’s pushed into uni before they even finish hs, but the bad kids are usually pushed into trades if they don’t end up on benefits.
>>

>its not easy to get a trade
yes, it is. all you have to do is show up everday and work and learn.
>>
>>32595372
Lol, if you manage to get an apprenticeship

Either you’re a low IQ weak pussy who can’t commit and discipline himself to study for tests every once in a while or you’re just not meant for college.
I bet it’s the former. Either way you’re the type of person who needs a degree and a job that tells them what to do, and you’re not going to start a business or make money once you drop out again.
So the only options for you are either finish college or be homeless
>>
>>32594872
give me all this money you apparently have and just keep enough to live in peace
>>
>>32597927
Ok but should I go for finance? I was thinking of becoming an accountant if CS doesn’t work out
>>
>>32594872
>I dropped out of universities more times than I can count.
If you really have that much trouble with counting you may not be university material
>>
>>32594872
>CS
>switch to finance
Are you chasing a degree because you are passionate about the subjects, or are you chasing the degree because you heard the job market for the subjects grads is plentiful and well paid?
To me it sounds like you are trend hopping. The reason you are struggling may not be because you are retarded, but may be down to the fact you are not putting the hours in or are unmotivated because you do not truly want to do what you "think" you do.
Do whatever subject you think is genuinely something you are passionate about.
Many of them have some sort of transferable skills towards jobs.
If there is truly nothing, just do a welding course or another trade and live life for a bit. You will figure out that you are passionate about something at some point.

Are you retarded?

So many colleges under this - find one local to you. They will offer not only BTECs in whatever the fuck from plumbing, culinary arts, car mechanics and whatever the fuck else - but also HNC's and HND's in which are paid for by the government. These level 4 and 5 techinical qualifications in which they often put apprentices on - just do one of those.
It is literally so easy to get a trade in the UK. You are just an idiot.

I guess I got carried away with the trends and promise of big money in tech. I actually liked finance, I did it before going uni along with law.
