I am finally in the degree program i dreamed of my entire high school, i even did a semester worth of the material in 10th grade just of r the love of the game. However now that im finally here, i cant study for shit:I love the subject, I dont party, dont go out, dont have social medias, dont play video games or goon (the usual distraction suspects). But no matter what i will do ANYTHING but work for more than 40mins, i am failing my classes and all the advice on youtube is bullshit. How do i lock the fuck in chat?

Imo, most people struggle in university. It'll be very evident in the final exam/grade's bell curve. My general tips:- Don't waste your time on group study. Usually it just ends up the blind leading the blind. - Quit 4chan. It's a really bad habit. Very simple to quit too. Use parental control apps with passwords. Ask your roommate or someone else to set up the password. - Don't group and hang out with Pajeets. STEM/Math/Physics/other technical subjects: Do problems. Lots of them. You should attempt everything on your textbook. You should be able to solve all the homework/midterms/quizzes questions cold. And you should get a problem book and solve even more problems. Non-STEM: To do well, you most likely need to rewrite the whole subject in your own words, on top of active recall/teaching yourself loudly, not just in your head.Facts and figures: flash card, Anki, you only need to know how to do cloze and reversed card in Anki, that's it. Don't over-complicate things.
Advice that anon above gave is good but I'm starting to fear there is literally no other way than to just do it. The only light at the end of the tunnel is that surpassing my limits gives me more confidence in my abilities when I do manage to lock in. It's like how rockets need the most energy to just leave orbit and after that everything is easier. I guess, just, stop wasting your time like I am right now and lock in. If you lose motivation after 5 secs, lock in again. It's so fucking hard but thinking about it is a deliberate waste of time>Just remember: You can never leave.
