I can't even make friends because of them. I'm on my second year in University and I don't live there, I just commute. It's impossible to make friends there, I don't even know what to do, it's killing me on the inside. Humans need social interaction in order to be sane.Everybody at this god damn university is shy and incredibly introverted, well not necessarily everybody but like 99% of them. I start a conversation with some dude sitting next to me and he just mumbles some crap and goes back to scrolling on his phone. Don't even get me started on the girls, I'll admit I'm bit of a loudmouth and a very outgoing person so when I talk to these girls they freeze up for some fucking reason. In my classes, it's literally just me asking all of the questions apart from maybe 2 other kids. The zoomers don't say shit. What the fuck, in a normal world a person like me should have lots of friends, I've been outgoing and extroverted my whole life now when I surround my self with zoomers, I feel isolated.
>>32598182Being a commuter is a MAJOR handicap and has always been, not just with zoomers. Have you tried saying Hello? Chat with the person next to you in each class (Why are you taking this? What do you know about this teacher?) , or on lines, or in the snack bar. Can you alter your commute to hang around campus after classes? Join a club.
>I just commuteDo the math and see if it's worth (money & time). I met my gf in private transport because it's at least 2h daily hours of nothing to do with a bunch of young adults close to each other. Hard to not make friends.>some dude sitting next to me Nah. Go to where the noise is already at. You could be studying at the Tibetan University of Monks and there would still be some dudebros playing 8ball somewhere in campus, or just chilling in the cafeteria. If they're quiet, don't approach. If they're alone, but they make eye contact back, approach. I think you're still too shit to approach large groups, it's a skill to be learned.Join your student council. You'll be guaranteed to meet people who give a shit. Or maybe you'll just find troons and lefties. But then that means you joined a shit college in a shit state. Skill issue.>Don't even get me started on the girlsThe basics apply: dress to impress, don't be a tryhard, avoid large groups, let (and learn to make) them come to you. Call me a fag but as a fellow zoomer reading the old books on pick-up-artistry helped me on this. It was always tricky to approach, but now you have another layer of apathy to cross so you might as well bring the big guns. Also, find the guy™. Somewhere out there, there is a guy™ just like you, your lost twin from the prophecies, and you are destined to find each other and become reliable allies for the rest of college. A brotherhood of two.
>>32598182I'm so fucking glad extrovert dipshits like you don't get to enjoy life anymoreI'm in college and these are my most calmest school years I've ever had, I'm glad they're all introverted like this, they actually cooperate amongst each other with very little fuss or infighting and just get shit done
>>32598347you sound so bitter
>>32598300Most young males have nothing going on for them and are rather boring (video games doesn't count sorry). For females it's different since hot young pussy has high value, while a young male is simply competition you do not want.
>>32598182millenial here. i made about 1.5 friends in uni due to some shared courses or things like that. and only did so thanks to the efforts of my sister who came to visit me and went out alone to get drunk in some clubs and find them for me. improved my life situation a lot.not trying to help you or anything, just saying being anti-social in uni is not necessarily a zoomer thing.
>>32598347Based>>32598360Cringe
you’re probably just ugly join a frat
>>32598182covid happened the world hard-reset and the fact that you're even still in university after they require the soul-stealing shots makes you just as bad as them now
Can we stop with these 'muh generation hate' threads/post. There are shitty people in every generation. I was born in 1998 and I've noticed anti-social Millennials and Zoomers both. Get over yourself.
>>32598182I think people just hang out less in general and I was retarded in the same ways at that age.
>>32601163as someone who went to university in 2005 and 2025, millennials never just played on their phone in awkward silence for 5 minutes as the teacher asks about what's on the board. there were always anti social kids but they were in there with teachers pets and nerds and guys that just always wanted to talk about being libertarian or whatever. in 2025 that's all gone. no one speaks up or debates unless the teacher points to them.
