I am in no big need of money but still, it feels kinda sad to see that my grandma didnt left me lands or properties It makes you wonder if she actually liked you that much. Never really begged her for money and thought i had a good relationship with her but... sigh.
>>32599679so fucking what? What do you need advice about? Can you not read the board rules you dumb little tard?
>>32599725i am conflicted manwhy did she just leave me some pendantneed some emotional advice
>>32599679When my grandma died, I got a few thousand $$$. I wish it would have been possible to spend all of the money for just a few more days with her. I miss her. The money helped me, yeah, but it’s just money. >It makes you wonder if she actually liked you that much. You should know this already. You don’t need someone to die to figure out if they liked you. You can do that and should have known this while she lived.
>>32599728Maybe the pendant has sonic the hedgehog powers like Chris-chan's
>>32599679Yeah same here OP. 3 of my 4 grandparents are dead. None of them left me so much as a SINGLE CENT. My grandma left me a shirt that said "favorite grandson" and I was really touched by that until my cousins told me literally everyone got one of those shirts. Now I don't even know where that shirt is. They didn't give a shit about me. I understand that fully. I will repay them by erasing their memories. Did I even have grandparents? Dunno
>>32599776i mean i think she liked me and we called each other and stuffbut i dunno now
>>32599728fuck your emotions is my advice to you
>>32599790The way you act is the reason why you got nothing. Awful, demanding and ugly personality gets nothing. I don’t even expect anything from my granny and she’s the best granny in the world. You’re just spoiled brat, fuck off and I hope parents won’t leave anything as well.
>>32599797>I mean i think she liked me and we called each other and stuffOf course she liked you. That’s why she enjoyed calling you. She innately liked you because she liked being a mother to your parent. And when your parent had a kid (you) she enjoyed and liked you because you were her grandchild. So when she got old and she was getting very sick, she spoke with her legal counsel to create a will, a big piece of paper that lists who inherits her belongings. And when making that list, guess who she wrote on there? She wrote (you). She did that on purpose. Why? Because she had to think of who she loved in her life to include. And she thought of you, because she loved you. And she left behind for you a keepsake, something she felt was precious to her, which was her pendant. And she entrusted it to you, because to grandma, you are as near and dear to her emotional heart as that pendant was to her own physical heart.Of course she liked you, loved you even. That’s why you got that pendant.
>>32599812guess youre rightthanks anon
>>32599812Don’t bother. He’s fucking clueless, he cherish the money more than anything else and has no fucking idea that to his grandma that pendant meant more than money, and by giving it to him she wanted him to have something to remember her. But this gargoyle cares only about money. Ffs.
>>32599806Lol you don't know anything about me, you jackass. Nothing! You don't know my life or my grandparents. You don't know JACK FUCKING SHIT. Who the FUCK do you think you are to say that shit to me? Huh? Who the fuck do you think are, cunt?I NEVER ASKED FOR ANYTHING FROM ANY OF THEM. NOT ONCE, NOT EVER. FUCK YOU you fucking arrogant rotten cunt you are a stupid piece of ignorant shit and I hope your entire family dies painfully right down to the last retarded shit eating infant.Fuck you.
>>32599820Damn right it’s right. No need for guessing on facts lol. If I were you, I’d keep the pendant. Maybe even get it polished and maintained at a jeweler, make it shiny like new. And then either wear it often, or keep it for your own kid/grandkid. Pass it down, make it a family heirloom, carry Grandma’s memory forward. I think you got a fantastic gift in that will. Money is money, it’s paper, it’s dead. In our lives we all have our favourite things, personal belongings that we attach a lot of emotional memories onto, things we feel naked without. Like a favourite jacket, a necklace, a ring, or even an artefact or decoration. That shit is priceless. Not in money, but in emotional value. And she just gave that to you. So cherish it well.
>>32599829He/she doesnt seem like that type of person, to be honest. Seems like OP hasn’t gone through death of a grandma like this before and how wills work and what signifigance or meaning these things have. Doesn’t make OP a bad person. OP wasn’t focusing on whether they deserved more, but just wanted to know if objects left behind in wills somehow measure love from the deceased or not.
>>32599679I assume your grandmother still had living children and/or a living spouse. So its normal that they would inherit most of the estate instead of a grandkid. Grandkids usually just get a token gift, so this is not out of the ordinary. When your parents die you and any siblings you might have will be the obvious choice to inherit their lands if they have any. That's just how these things work.
>>32600022oh no my grandpa has been dead for far longer
>>32599679are you american per chance?
>>32600080Then the money went to your parent that is your grandmother's child, and their siblings.
>>32599790I think we've all figured out why your grandparents left you nothing.
>>32599679my grandparents didn't leave me anything because their kids are alive and my family is not full of greedy assholes so no grandson complained at all. In fact the brothers and sisters were very generous and gave a bigger part to the poorest brother who also took care of my grandma for a good decade before she moved with my aunt who was wealthier and could take better care of hersame on my father side, my grandpa's house was left to the oldest and poorest brother because he was living in the same town as him and saw him more frecuently than the other brothers who went on to make fortunes in bigger cities.
>>32599679My grandma gave me all of the family heirlooms and precious metals while she was alive, but most boomers were of the mindset that they shouldn’t pass anything down to their grandkids. Don’t feel bad anon, she probably loved you she was just brainwashed
>>32599790>>32599679Mine supposedly had money and property but the boomers in charge would rather ignore everything till the state or just this one bitch takes everything.
