21y, bf is going to breakup w me, heard from a close friend he was holding the relationship til now cuz he ''felt in charge of taking care of me'' (5 years ago when i met him, i was planning to kms at the end of the year, but he came in my life and i decided not to since i've got a nice friend and partner), maybe i wasnt too clear that breaking up with me didnt mean i was going to kms or dry and explode and he didnt needed to carry this weight without loving me anymore til now, i'm a coward and i changed my mind about unaliving and all.been planning to talk with him about breaking up but at least keeping ourselves in a no compromise friendship, since i like him a lot as a friend, too.tomorrow or next saturday.he said to me he needed to talk to me too (probably about the same thing)would i be an asshole by him giving this idea?he is level 1 autism support, tho.need any ideas on other level 1 anons to how to talk to him without scaring or making him too sad.
