Do you use character.ai or the sort? I dont understand the draw these have...far as I know you can't even sext them they'll censor it like crazy. They dont talk like real people or like the character. Just keep asking questions no one talks like that. Do people really fall in love with these things? Am i looking at the right place? I feel like i get better help from chatgpt but even then i know its cold and not real.

>>32599985character.ai is fake and gay.i did use llms for simulated erp tho, mostly local, starting with llama and various finetunes and variations. was a pretty fun time. but the smarter the models became, the less fiddling and tweaking it required to make your waifu appear "sentient" for a few moments the more the magic of it all disappeared. now the effort to try and immerse myself in such fantasy is just too much, even though the models are generally smarter, because i've seen too much of the same behaviours.the first mikusex with llama1 was magical, because it was like talking to an oblivious alien that i could carefully groom into being an alluring sex toy. and my pc always shit the bed when things got steamy after some interactive intro convo setting the scene at 0.3 words per second. made it feel like the ai was getting reluctant and anxious. but it just needed more ram or vram.

It was fully uncensored during its first 6 - 12 months of creation. Most people use Claude and other modified LLMs through something like SillyTavern.>They dont talk like real people or like the character. They do, but you have to prompt it creatively during profile creation + set the tone during convo, editing it constantly until it builds an algorithm. Character AI still sucks though because its ‘personality memory’ is limited as shit. I tried using character AI a couple of times for fun because I wanted to RP without having to join some gay little discord group or something like that just to write some mildly retarded anime RP once in a while. But the AI was really overwhelming. It has NO ability to commit anything to memory, no concept of cause and consequence, and even its ability to comprehend received text was abysmal. With all of that hype about the current state of AI I was sort of expecting more but oh well.
