I don't know what's going on, either if it's because of trauma or just my way of living until recently, but I struggle understanding a concept deeply when it reaches a certain level, as if i was 'scared' of methods and deeper meanings of things, afraid of "not being able to understand it" , it's like as soon as it gets to that point i already start the pessimistic thinking and i can only think there's no way out I've recently been wanting to study computer science, programmingbut it reaches a point where i can only think "i'll never understand this" and although i think it comes more from an ignorant part of me and discouraging, i still want to breach this barrierwhat can i do? as soon as i get to that point of "deepness" i start to get anxious and to think that's the furhtest i can goas if i, never in my life, had actually understood something more than basically to get praised by others because of my environment (""gifted"" kid)It's been pretty bad

>>32600387You're likely trying to run before you can walk. Slow down. You don't need to hurry.
>>32600387Learning takes timeDon't put too much on your plate.
OP here. Thanks to all of you anonsIt makes a lot of sense that i'm trying to understand a field before it all or trying to run before i can walkit all comes down to timethanks. i'll work into that>>32601725>>32601757>>32601856>>32602290
>>32602358congrats you hit your learning curve, now your reading should be systemic (school like) if you want steady progress that you won't forget in 2 days
>>32603112I'll work on it.I have been neglecting living for too long
>>32600387You take AI bots and ask them to explain you stuff in Feynman/rubber duck method
>>32601856This. Also keep in mind that learning should never be too difficult; all the advanced concepts you will learn are built on all the simple ones you've already learned. If you don't understand something, go back to the basics.
OP herethe thread is about to be archived and before that i just want to say thank you to all of you who gave me advice on my problemi'll make sure to try all of that out
