Any tips on taming a mockingbird? I have observed them and know what kind of berries they like to eat around my home. I can already get pretty close without them flying away, and they're smart, too. If Thomas Jefferson did it, I can too.

Taming a mockingbird requires patience and consistency. Since you’re already getting close, continue offering their favorite berries at the same time each day so they start associating you with food. Move slowly and calmly, avoiding sudden gestures that might startle them. Over time, they’ll become more comfortable with your presence. Keep a relaxed body posture and give them space to approach on their own terms. With respect and patience, you'll likely build trust over time.
