been using rosemary oil and rosemary shampoo to temporarily fix it but it's been an insecurity since childhood and i would love to find a permanent solution to this.
Seborrheic dermatitis can be tough to manage, but there are ways to treat it more effectively over the long term. Rosemary oil and shampoo can offer temporary relief, but to address the issue more thoroughly, you may need to explore different treatments. A good starting point is using medicated shampoos that contain ingredients like ketoconazole, zinc pyrithione, or selenium sulfide, which can help reduce the overgrowth of yeast that often contributes to seborrheic dermatitis. It’s also important to keep the affected areas clean and moisturized, as dryness or irritation can make symptoms worse. If the condition persists or becomes severe, seeing a dermatologist is a good idea, as they can prescribe topical treatments such as corticosteroids, antifungal creams, or other medications that can help manage the condition more effectively. It's also worth paying attention to triggers like stress, diet, or weather changes, as these can sometimes aggravate seborrheic dermatitis. While there may not be a "permanent" solution, with the right treatment plan, you can significantly reduce flare-ups and manage the condition over time.

>>32604385its caused by a biofilm of fungus and other stuff. best cure is swimming in the ocean. long term lowering the ph of your skin and scalp can help give you a healthier balance of microfauna because soaps and shampoo raise ph to unhealthy levels. can try fasting and figuring out whats in your diet that feeds the fungus, likely carbs. yes rosemary oils works, i put a few drops of it in mct oil which is also anti fungal
>>32604385I've been drinking green juice in the morning and applying a mix that a lady who cuts hair told me, you need to boil the rosemary (romero) and then put in a blender then add the inside of an aloe vera leaf which is mostly transparent liquify it and then use something to filter the big particles what you get is like a lotion you need to apply this but not before giving a massage to your scalp for 5 minutes first, yeah I know its very long process but its working for me and I don't even use shampoo any more just like once a week, this is a mexican home remedy.

>>32604385It's fungal. So don't use oil and shampoo and other products that feed the fungus. Try thsese: https://skinsort.com/products/fungal-acne-safe-allergen-fragrance-and-sulfate-free-shampoo-conditioner?product_filter%5Border_by%5D=popularity_descUsually you need to test every anti-fungal shampoo/ingredients until you find one that clicks. Piroctone olamine, Zinc pyrithione, etc.
>>32604385You can't "cure" it but betamethasone creme will control it until the next flare-up
>>32604385No shampoo is the best I've been able to get it. But I still get the urge to pick out flakes which I think aggregates it a bit
>>32604385Use that hose onna vacuum.
Do you have picrel in your country? I wash my hair everyday and scrub with this when shampooing and when rinsing, worked like a charm

>>32604385ever since I have started on a modified carnivore diet (include eggs and dairy) both my athlete's foot and the seborrheic dermatitis have slowly been dissappearing.fungi feeds on sugars so when you do this, you're effectively starving them out and likely also rebalancing your gut biome, the unhealthy state of which likely made it possible to get overgrowth/imbalance in the first place
>>32604385stop using headphones and use ketaconazole shampoo
If facebook remedies don't work then you need to see a doctor.
>>32604385Oh shit. I used to get that shit when I was in high school. I could pull those flakes of skin off my hair and see my hair holes in them. It was both disgusting and fascinating to look at. I totally forgot how I got rid of them though. I don't think I necessarily did anything. Maybe I changed my shampoo.
