I have obsessive compulsive disorder, i feel things get tainted once something happens, and it could be the most silly things:>Start receiving spam email? New email!>Get too many emails from 503905395 accounts and services? New email!>Had to update an email for some reason on website X? time to change all my emails!I randomly gained consciousness and realized that I ought to do something about this, and I ended up with 4 emails. There were certain sites, apps, and subscriptions that have either a dysfunctional email changing feature or outright refused to update my email. And they were too important to just drop and stop using. It feels uncomfortable having to use 4 different emails and switching from one email to another to use a specific service, for instance.I just have to literally put up with this and accept things as they are and put an end to my OCD bullshit. How?
This has caused me a lot of problems. Sometimes, I forget to cancel a subscription, and it would still charge, and I would lose track of which email the subscription is tied to.
>>32605073you just got to deal with the overfilled single email and stop trying to control. just deal with it , ignore what you dont like and dont give in to the urge. eventually youll get past iti can imagine this isnt the only part of your life affected by this?
>>32605073>i feel things get tainted once something happensi feel like this , but with things thta actually matter. once i ruin by rep at a new job i gotta quit, cant deal with being treated like a shitbag. unfortunately fear of commitment leads me to procrastinate and self sabotage at jobs ruining my rep fast and leaving me quickly fired or in limbo. i delayed signing a contract wIth harsh penalties for a job i wanted and i have a feeling i might've blew it

>>32605073I had the same problem as you. I'm not sure exactly what made me stop it, but for now try choosing one to tie the most important things and drop the others. And by dropping I mean changing the password to a random one and then deleting that password.
