I go to an expensive gym because it's the only gym in my area. There's this very attractive gym attendant has always been friendly to me, but she could just be doing her job. I came close to asking her out before, but didn't want to make her feel weird.Now that I'm moving to a different area and switching gyms, I have to go and cancel my membership. Would it be a bad idea to ask her out?

What I did was just strike up a conversation about her name, it was unique and a catalyst for a conversation.Turned out she was in a relationship, so I ended the conversation smoothly with "Worth asking. Have a nice day." Wasn't awkward or anything after, generally you only talk to gymbros at the gym anyway.
