Im doing my masters but just got a 6fig offer + equity at a company whose product will get very far, there are many investors lined up and deals being made, the product is already out and loved by the users.

Im honestly thinking about dorpping out for this, but at the same time Ive been in my msc for 2.5 years and would graduate next semester.

What to do?

Man, tell them you can start in X amount of time of work something out with your academic overlords. Take it all.

What would the masters even do for you? For most people I know, the masters is halfway irrelevant unless you're working in education.

Secondly could you do both? Have the job and work the masters semester on the side? I would also ask how long your college credits will last. In the USA a lot of college credits expire after so many years without a degree. So if the job doesn't work out within a year you might be able to slip back in to the program. But you'll need to talk to the university first to really confirm this

Transfer your masters to part time online and take the job. Take a sabbatical too, then you've got 12 months to just work and see how things turn out.

The whole point of getting the masters is for work right? This place doesn't care about that. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth

delay and finish the master once youre established in the company and can take less hours
