Out of these two types of jobs, which would be better to apply for:1) Supermarket job2) Programming jobI do find programming alright but I dunno if I want to commit to it. The supermarket job would give me time to think about what I want to do.
>>32607361The programming job gives you time to think about what to do to wtf. It's not like you can't quit.
>>32607361You probably would not look back on your life and fondly remember working at the programming factory.
>>32607368Sure you can quit but it feels like a proper commitment. I feel like the supermarket job could be a springboard to a bigger variety of directions.I could do a supermarket job just for a few months then start applying for programming jobs if I feel that's the right thing to do.>>32607371You could say that all jobs are pretty shit, I've worked in a small shop before and it wasn't my dream job, but I found it alright actually. Serve customers, talk to staff, get paid. Not too bad. Better than no job.
>>32607380A supermarket job is a springboard for literally nothingWhy do you think an unskilled labor job looks better than a skilled one that's so dumb.
>>32607384>A supermarket job is a springboard for literally nothingLots of people do supermarket jobs when they're young, then they go on to different things. It's extremely common>Why do you think an unskilled labor job looks better than a skilled one that's so dumb.I think if you become a programmer then everyone will see you as only being capable of that thing. "Oh you're a tech guy." They'll think you can't do other things. At least with a supermarket job they can see that you're capable of talking to people, being professional in front of customers, etc.
