Hi, just under an hour ago my home was burglarised by three men wearing masks and gloves, and they trashed our house with bbq sauce. We called the police and checked security footage but we saw them wearing masks and gloves. I am very worried because they have probably targeted our house and prepared in advance, even the police suspects that they used interference techniques so we couldnt see the full footage. I am worried and not sure what to do. The police said they dont think they can do anything, but I need advice on this. I draw art for others and help the community a lot, but I don't know why this is going on.

Yeah we just relocked all of our doors but they were able to unlock it and were probably people who were already experienced with burglary. They even were able to disconnect two of our four cctv cameras.The police advised us not to go to our insurance company as they wouldn't be able to do much and apparently would just increase it since nothing appeared to be stolen yet the damage down was far profound on our mental state as well as physically ruining our property. Thank you for the advice, it's just brings me trauma and I just want to bring them to justice. Of course we'd be pressing full charges but it's just hopeless given that they wore masks and gloves and obviously targeted this building for a while given how they prepared for it, even tried to leave the sink on and dumped a camera in there.

Because we caught them within like 1-2 mins when they entered the house, they left because they knew we were coming down the stairs and then on the footage we managed to recover, they said that we weren't rich...
