My professor is making us write an essay on either when we lost our virginity or otherwise our first sexual memory. Everyone else in class is acting like this is normal, but I find this insane. Can I report him over this? Should I? Who would I even report him to?

>>32609065I would find it very inappropriate for a teacher to require you to write an essay about your own personal sex life. Even in a class about human sexuality this would be inappropriate. If it were me, I would report him to the Department Chair, or maybe the Dean. The latter if you think the professor and the Dept Chair are buddies. If they don't do anything I would escalate it higher. But, that's just me; I get pretty irate about things like this.Again, if this was a paper about some aspect of human sexuality, discussing the topic from an academic and non-personal standpoint, things would be different. An assignment like this is basically him demanding that you tell him about your sex life. You'd tell any asshat on the stree that asks you that to fuck off. So, this professor is using the leverage he has over you (your grades) to force you to divulge personal and intimate information. As such, it is fully an abuse of his authority as a professor.
