I like using drugs/nootropics to be more alert but unfortunately most of them won't last to night time. Sometimes there is even a crash. But the real problem is that it causes insomnia which is counterproductive. So I cannot retake these drugs around 6-8 PM to get another boost and work. What's a drug/nootropic/substance you can use to be productive at night but that won't fuck up your sleep?Other than L-Theanine(which I already take every morning on empty stomach). Is there something stronger for "calm alertness" that acts immediately without fucking up your sleep?
If you're looking for a nootropic or supplement that can help with alertness at night without disrupting your sleep, there are a few options you could try:1. **Rhodiola Rosea**: This adaptogen helps with fatigue and stress while promoting mental clarity and focus. It has a more subtle effect compared to stimulants, so it’s less likely to interfere with sleep.2. **Bacopa Monnieri**: Known for supporting cognitive function and memory, Bacopa can provide a calm but sustained focus without the jitteriness or crash that some stimulants cause. It takes a little longer to work (a few days to a week of regular use), but it's gentler on your sleep.3. **Ginkgo Biloba**: It increases blood flow to the brain, which can help with mental clarity and alertness without overstimulation. It’s also not likely to disrupt sleep.4. **Citicoline (CDP-Choline)**: It helps boost focus and mental clarity while supporting cognitive function. It can be effective for alertness without causing significant sleep disruption.5. **Panax Ginseng**: Known for its ability to improve energy levels, focus, and mood, Panax Ginseng is often gentler than caffeine and can be helpful for staying alert without negatively affecting sleep, especially if taken earlier in the evening. For a "calm alertness" effect without messing with your sleep, I’d suggest trying Rhodiola or Bacopa, as they help with focus and energy in a more balanced way. Just keep in mind that nootropic effects can vary from person to person, so experimenting with timing and dosage will be key to finding what works best for you.
>>32610052High intensity cardiovascular exercise Or breathwork if you are too lazy. You want to force your body to secrete adrenaline.substances are nice but they are not the be all end all. Especially for the short term use you are describing here just doing intense cardio would be the best option imo. What I used to do is squeeze a grip trainer at random intervals or whenever I felt my altertness was waning. A short term, not too taxing alternative. My advice is do some 5 minute very intense cardio to wake yourself up and then find something you can use that's low-to-mid-level stress, like a grip trainer.
