The way I see it there are 3 types of people who try to project gayness onto others (besides gays):
1 straight men who see someone who has traits or values they don't have. They seek to devalue these traits to feel more secure
2 women who see traits they as indicating bad genes. They call men gay to indicate they wouldn't reproduce with them, it signals a desire to eradicate them from the gene pool. These women see society as inherently dangerous
3 women who see gays as moral leaders, they seek a dangerless society and will follow the cues of those perceived as gay beyond their basic instincts
