Is it over if you didn't achieve anything in life at 30?
>No job
>No degree
>No friends
>No girls
>No money
>No skills
>No car
>Lives with parents
I already have my answer. But I'd like to hear what you guys think and what if you were on such a situation.
>>
no
>>
>>33756437
Of course it's over. Imagine doing a race where you let the opponent start running 30 years before you. Do you think you can just come back one day and expect to catch the number of laps the other runner has?
>>
I swear every question in this board is just a variation of this is it over at x bullshit” ffs
>>
>>33756515
It's way faster to catch up than start from zero. That's a fact.
Also, comparing yourself to others is not smart. They didn't grow living the same life you did.
>>33756536
Yes. That is correct. Now answer the question, fag.

stop craving, you only feel shit because you're desire money, women, etc
>>
>>33756593
You're a retard. It's not possible to catch up. The other person doesn't wait for you to catch up, they keep moving forward. Also, you can't catch up in socializing during puberty when your brain forms new connections for social interactions. If you miss this time window, you've missed it for good. And your social awkwardness will only get worse as you age because it won't be seen as this "young shy boy" anymore.

And of course comparison is bad. But you live in a society and have no choice than to accept that your position in it is relative to others (regardless of the cause).
>>
>>33756437
It's not. Start from learning something you want to learn, and go from there. Nobody will be able to tell you what that "something" is. You have to find it by yourself and commit to it. You got the internet and libraries at your disposal, and courses online and offline everywhere.
The "it's too late for X" is a mental trap. I've been telling myself the same thing for nearly 20 years, and I've still not managed to break out of it completely. It literally doesn't matter.
>>
>>33756437
Stan Lee made his first comic at 38
Eric Yuan founded Zoom at 41
Toni Morrison wrote her first novel at 40
Martha Stewart wrote her fist cookbook at 41
Vera Wang began designing at 40
Donald Fisher founded The Gap at 40
Robin Chase founded Zipcar at 42
Sam Walton opened the first Walmart at 44
Henry Ford built the Model T at 45
Tim Zagat published his first restaurant guide at 51
Roy Croc founded McDonalds at 51
Col Sanders founded KFC at 65
>>
>>33756683
It's not a mental trap, it's just reality. There was this 40-something special needs guy at my job who one day managed to officially get his highschool diploma. We all celebrated and clapped to congratulate him on his "achievement" and he seemed very proud. Normal people get that diploma when they're like 15 or something. Him getting it now has absolutely no advantage. Only retards would say "oh, he's just a late bloomer!! it's never too late to learn to read... or learn to tie your shoes at 40!! never give up!!". Absolute crap advice.
>>
>>33756437
yes, if you keep being retarded you won't change anything.
>>
>>33756710
You're a retard. These individuals had normal childhoods. They have been grinding every day until success. On top of that, they didn't have to compete with the rest of the world in the digital age with jeets and others. They are also jewish and had nepotic connections at their synagogue for help and investments.
>>
>>33756635
How do you respond to this? >>33756710
Seems to me that you've been completely refuted.
>>
>>33756810
I already did, just above your post. The beginning sentence of my post should have struck you, since it seems tailored to you.
>>
>>33756791
And what about all the successful people with hard childhoods and shitty lives that succeed despite the odds? You really expect myself, or anyone for that matter, to just give up and lie down because things aren't perfect? So what if you never dated your highschool crush, so what if you were a loner, so what if life has been giving it to you raw since day one? There are countless stories of rags to riches where even the most broken can find some level of success if they only just try for it. The truth is, it's only over when you're dead. YOU CAN MAKE IT, but making it will take effort. Sometimes more effort than others.
>>
>>33756437
Not over. It's very possible to turn these things around, IF you draw your line in the sand and start actively working towards them.
But, since we both know you're not doing that...
>>
Yes. It's over. You're free now. You can do what you want without expectations.
>>
>>33757183
Dude, seriously just stop with your shit motivation speeches. You're going to fool people into thinking they can make it and then they'll realize it was a stressful waste of time.

Your shit motivational books and romanticised stories are created to sell. They are created for people like you to chase the imaginary carrot dangling on the thread and keep you moving.

You're part of the reason why people here are depressed. You tell paraplegic people to keep trying to become the next Lebron James. You tell disfigured people they are only one phone call away from being on the cover of a fashion magazine. You tell people with poor cognitive abilities that they can be the next Elon Musk. You tell blind people that they can see.

Then we all scratch our heads in unison wondering why people are depressed. How about telling people their real potentional and not giving them false hope as the self-help charlatan book-sellers did with you?
>>
>>33756791
No one on that list is Jewish. Yuan, Wang, Morrison aren't even white. Walton, Ford, Sanders were noted anti-semites.
>>
>>33757271
NTA but you prove your own point wrong with your words. No one is telling blind paraplegics to "just try harder bro".
People like you and OP (assuming you're different people) and others like you cannot hide behind this stuff. There is nothing physically wrong with you people. You're just mentally broken and or lazy, overcome with learned helplessness, and having never actually tried.
So when we tell you to snap out of it and get your shit together, it's just a little different from gassing up the paraplegic (who didn't ask for his condition, mind you) to make the NBA.
>>

>How do you respond to this? >>33756710 #
>Seems to me that you've been completely refuted.
That post is all weasel words

None of those people were NEET losers even though their success came late

Toni Morrison wasn't a name but she was a professor at Howard with a Cornell Degree

Colonel Sanders wasn't a mogul but he had (inflation equivalent) $500k by 32 because of insurance sales and owning a ferry

Every person on that list was a regular person even if they were a late bloomer

A real hardcore 4chan loser that hasn't worked or gotten a degree and lives at parents house after 20s doesn't get that success later, full stop. No one can name a person who just started to get MOMENTUM after 30, that's the truth, you're totally locked out of success

Dafuq you mean?
>>
>>33757324
No, you got your own counter point wrong. People who are neets don't end up there by choice. Their mental disabilities make them stay recluse. If they were smart, they would have studied with no effort. If they were good-looking they would have been approached by women. If they were athletic they would have been asked to join the school's sports teams. And they would have led a very normal and very happy life.

The truth is they have some disability (low IQ, autism, schizophrenia, psychosis, etc.), but are sent to normal schools and naturally get rejected by everyone. This results in isolation. And can you guess why they were sent to normal school? Because IDIOTS with their shitty motivational positive-thinking speeches thought "you just have to believe in yourself and you will overcome every challenge in life!! your autism will never hold you back!! you will totally be a lawyer or doctor... or even both!!". If retards like you never planted some seeds of desire in these guys, then there would have never been a feeling of "missing out on life" for them.
>>
>>33757460
Why are you so obsessed with highschool? You know what I think this is? You're projecting your own personal failure and subsequent copes for why you're a loser on to everyone else here. You're perpetually stuck in the highschool mindset. And you're not ever gonna get better because you suffer from learned helplessness. You specifically won't ever make it because you're not even willing to acknowledge the possibility of your personal situation improving. And the only satisfaction you get is bringing other people down on their luck to your pathetic level. Funny thing is the only people I know that do that are troons. Do you wear womens clothes? Either way, anyone that isn't as hopelessly pathetic as you stands a good chance to make something of themselves. Success takes many forms, and none of them are for you.

>>
>>33757485
You're literally retarded. I am using the school (any school, dumb fucking retard) example because putting inferior people in a competitive social setting naturally causes a negative feedback. If you put an autistic child in the woods and let him grow up there, he will never end up depressed. If you put him in a setting where he is compared to others on a daily basis, then of course he's going to see that he doesn't fit and this will result in isolation and neeting.

Also, the fact you hang out with troons speaks for itself.

>The truth is they have some disability (low IQ, autism, schizophrenia, psychosis, etc.)
If all this is truly the case then WHY exactly do they/you expect to still have a normal life? Or act wronged by people/society/women whatever if it doesn't happen for you?
>If they were smart, they would have studied with no effort. If they were good-looking they would have been approached by women. If they were athletic they would have been asked to join the school's sports teams.
All of this is still cope and shows how lazy and entitled your thought process really is. The people with the best grades studied. The guy dating his dream girl actually asked her out. Athletes practice and hone their skills, because for one they enjoy their sport but two, even if they didn't they'd spend hours practicing anyway. Why? Because they're MADE to, that's how sports teams work. Not that you would know, since you've never played.
And you're forgetting one other very important thing. Any given sports game, at any level from Little League to the pros, half of the athletes on the court or field still LOSE.
>>
>>33757545
>If you put an autistic child in the woods and let him grow up there
Is the child actually "autistic" or did he just make that up to cope?
It's also funny how all these excuses (autism, rough childhood, etc) are not actually mentioned in the OP post but we're just supposed to assume them anyway. It's like you guys get mad if you're judged by the same standard as anyone else and people actually give you more credit than you deserve.
>>
>>33756635

Nigger response right here. I was in your position OP. Fat as fuck, no girl loser with no friends at 33. 6 months later I lost 140 pounds. A year later I was beating off college girls who wanted random hookups. Now I own 3 cars and a house 7 years later.

If you start at 0, get into a trade, make $60k a year, start your own business in 2-3 years, you can pull an easy 6 figures. Where are the guys who are 10 years ahead? Still running the same grind everyone else is.

If there's 15 year old millionaires, why not you OP? åç
>>
>>33757559
I can get all those in less than 10 years and fuck girls in their early 20s while cruising through my 40s.
You guys have any objection to this plan?
>>
>>33757450

>>33757330
>>
>>33757586
If it's this easy, then why do people work as cashiers, in factories, in fast food, etc., for minimum wage? Everyone would just "go in trade" for 60k per year. What's more funny is you're telling neets who don't know how to interact socially that they should open a business that requires skills on how to read people's intentions and try to convince them to buy your services/products. Your post is a LARP anyway, but at least try to make it sound not so stupid.
>>
>>33757620
Like I said a lifetime. 10 years is a long ass time and it takes that long to get there from nothing. I would really highly stress prioritizing getting a car. If you have collectible bullshit sell it. Don't give me any bullshit about taking the bus or walking or bikes. Get a car loser. You won't get any of those things without it or they will take 5X as long.
>>
>>33757545
Except they're not inferior. They're just people. To go even further and burry your shit attitude in the dirt where it belongs, here's a list of people with downs that are business owners. You mean to tell me that someone with fucking downs syndrome is better than you? And I still think you're a fucking loser that's perpetually stuck in highschool, probably because your crush turned you down and you never moved on.

These business are ran by their relatives who thought it would be a great idea to use handicapped people to make a good story and get invited on the Ellen show to make publicity, go viral, and increase profits. Using a handicapped person like that also allows you to open a charity which will be used to reduce taxes on your profits.

You really seem to be born Yesterday.

>Is it over if you didn't achieve anything in life at 30?
You can get incredibly far in just a few months if you really operated at peak 100% efficiency for success. But seeing as you are in this predicament now, you were probably only operating more at 5%.
>what do you mean
meaning, are you spending most of your time during the day as efficiently as possible to achieve the desirable results or are you just wasting time? Do you adjust all aspects of your life to reach that peak efficient work flow? Do you set aside time to exercise for your physique? Do you adjust your diet to better fuel your body? Do you set aside time outside your immediate employment to develop investment or business opportunities? Do you maximize social networking to your advantage to form business connections? Do you properly allocate your finances to cut out waste and only spend on necessities? Do you go out of your way to develop academic goals?
>no

>Name one single success who actually started after 30.

Penny Matzinger. Was a Playboy model for a couple of years in her teens, quit, did a bunch of random shit and then got a degree in immunology in her 30s and went on to literally overthrow accepted orthodoxy by introducing the danger theory of immune response, which she was mocked for by established experts in the field for at least a decade before studies proved her right.

If you still can't summon enough motivation to make anything of yourself after that, you are literally even lower than a teenage Playboy slut. Hell you are lower than the stinkiest jeet, not because of some genetic circumstance but because your willpower is shit.

If you're like anyone who posts threads like this on this board, it's over because you have no desire to grow or change. It's over because if I told you otherwise you wouldn't be relieved you would make excuses and argue in defense of how over it is for you. It's over because you rather not start at all than have a late start. If anyone gave you a bulletproof plan to make the best of a bad situation you wouldn't take the advice because you're fatally demoralized and paralyzed by regret. It's over because you spend your time and energy obsessing how le over it is. It's over because you've denied yourself agency and are a soulless npc who has mistaken fear and pessimism for pragmatism. So yes, it is over for you. I'll see you around later when you make a dozen more of the same threads over and over.

No. I feel the same way as you, OP, but I just spoke to my father today for the first time in almost a year and we talked about this. I grew up in a decent home with loving parents and we did fine. Did he miss out on the lifestyle social media is trying to sell you? The one where you get to be a cool plauer and drive nice cars and go clubbing and bang hot girls every week? Sure. But he made something of himself. His life has been worth living. those people have genuinely zero ambition and spend all their spare income on shit they don't need. also a lot of them are on gibs where you explicitly stop earning them once you go over a certain income threshold, making it so that they don't want to earn more
