Who the fuck cares? It's very rare for people to have birds as pets. Cats and dogs are companions of mankind. They have been so for thousands of years, and in dogs case, tens of thousands. Birds did not evolve side by side with us. I find it sickening that our beloved pets are demonized by some freaks.

Dogs and cats are just beneficial to us as companions. But that is a big benefit.Dogs are domesticated to it, cats are pretty much just naturally good at it. They don't need a companion/mate, bond well with humans, keep themselves clean and bury their excrement. Just natural behaviors to them that end up working out well as a pet.
