Now how am i supposed to keep my dog from jumping into the leash when he goes defensive after some out of control mongrel starts barking at us?

>yeah bro, my dog was just being defensive, I just need literal iron prongs to the neck to keep him at bay from some barking
Pitbull owners sure are bad at hiding themselves
>>
if you cant control your animal even when it has a collar and leash on, how can you be expected to be a responsible dog owner? why not fucking electocute him with a buzzer whenever his animal instincts minorly inconvenience you? Jesus Christ dude just keep his leash short around other people/dogs

Wrong, Malinois.
Had a German Shepherd before when prong collars were still allowed so i never had to learn how else to teach this to a dog, and back then it was the standard training tool, no one used other methods.
Dog does not respond well to treats nor toys when other dogs start barking. And it is defensive since he could not care less about other dogs which i was able to teach him, but when other dogs start barking, he goes ballistic.

Theyre not even mean
I tried one on and its less painful that a normal flat collar

Why are dog “people” like this? That stuff about them really hating their animals more than anything seems to be true

I think the name of the way to treat it is desensitization or exposure, have em with a lot of other dogs that bark and play and bullshit, on a short leash, for a long time, and reprimand him if he gets aggressive at them.

Only husky owners are high IQ enough to train sociable dogs without these
