How would we fair if there were legit vampire squids that invaded us from the abyss? Ok, well not actual squids, but vampiric cephalopod(oid) creatures.They would be able to swim being water based creatures, traverse on land seeing as even normal octopuses can a bit, and fly being they are vampires and some squids can actually glide well. They would probably be pretty strong and fast too given not only they are vampires but as cephalopods tend to be strong for their size and some are rather speedy. They also would be very good at hiding and slipping into places, regenerating given both their natures, and they have an inky smokescreen that also works on land. I think their vampiric nature would enhance their durability as their slimy and soft body would be resistant to slicing and blunt damage as well. They also are rather smart too. This is all while not starving for blood, they are weaker without it. But sunlight will not instakill and burn them to ash, just really damage and somewhat slowly kill them like a slug in the hot sun if they have not feed for a while.How tentacled effed are we?
