Dogs should be illegal in inner cities. Its animal torture forcing your dog to hear constant traffic and being inside a small apartment
Dogs and cats belong close to nature. I wish you needed a special license for pet ownership

That said if you are a cat or dog owner who don't live somewhere your pet can roam free you disgust me and karma will get you
>>
>dog/ cat ownership seethe post
Kek your parents won't let you have one huh?
Get over it lmao

Bait posts have really gone down hill in recent weeks

Honestly rhe same is true for humans. I can't imagine cities smell great to something with such a sensitive nose too. But dogs do seem to love things that smell bad so idk.
>>
>>4828922
>life that isnt perfect should be illegal
Female gay or trans?
Call it
>>
>>4829014
Isn't it the same thing? They are essentially becoming men without surgery kek

>Honestly rhe same is true for humans.
cities are the engines of civilization and supply the funds to subsidize your way of living, ruralcuck. they aren't going anywhere anytime soon.
>>
>>4829027
>Cities are the engines of a spook
Money is made up. Even gold. It's not necessary for his way of living. It's not necessary period. A dictator lording over a rural area could assemble people to create the same amount of scientific progress, even. It would just be that freedom would be explicitly out the window, rather than out the window and replaced with pizza delivery.
>>
I live in the country but my dog loves the city
>>
>>4829039
>get confronted with facts with you don't like
>deflects and diverts into "lmao who cares it's all made up"
many such cases.

I was born in a city, lived rurally for a few years, then returned to the city. All I'm saying is there's a quieter and more tranquil way to live; now that I'm back in a city I realize what I'm missing. I think I would have enjoyed most cities more before 1910 but even then I'd be dealing with more primitive sanitation practices.

Only the farmers are subsidized really. Cities may be engines of civilization but surrounding rural towns are the engines of cities. At least they were before the government and corporations decided to invest in rural Chinese towns instead of American ones.

It’s not like modern ones are any better with all the other stuff piled on top of them. Been to New York lately? There’s entire areas where a stinking raw sewage scent and hobo shit can emanate for multiple blocks.

I think a janitor got fired.

That’s about how long I’ve been manually archiving and cataloguing every post and thread made on this board. I’ve seen how things have shifted and changed over that time. Also probably this >>4829412

You need a better hobby
>>
>>4828998
Bait/trolling implies they don't really believe this. But they do
>>
>>4829092
You didn't state a fact. You just lied. Cities don't do anything for anyone and never have. They don't help civilization, they prevent people from becoming civilized.

>>4829573
It’s just my yearly bout of autism and visit to the board but yes I plan to get into one of the /an/ related hobbies I learned about now

>Surrounding rural towns are the engines of cities
This is very true. Mycenea city-states were nothing without the coastal regions because the hilly terrain where Mycenae resided had no fertile land. Kings absorbed coastal settlements into their economy just to survive.
>>
>>4829622
That's untrue; city-states are the building blocks of civilization, and without them, there would be no prosperity or innovation. Cities are the breeding grounds for libraries, universities, and so much more that simply isn't available in the countryside. The countryside is synonymous with poverty.

Humans thrive when both the city and countryside are operated in tandem. Humans historically went extinct when they were forced to farm. The peasants of Europe? All farmers. The socialists of Eastern Europe? All farmers. Agrarian societies are a dead end and only better than literal hunter-gatherers chucking spears at wooly mammoths.

>The peasants of Europe? All farmers. The socialists of Eastern Europe? All farmers
How did they go extinct? Seems to me like they adapted and did what they could.
>Agrarian societies are a dead end and only better than literal hunter-gatherers chucking spears at wooly mammoths.
Depends what you mean by ‘better’. Sure it was more comfortable and convenient but it also had deleterious effects on them because of change of diet and what not. Hunter-gatherers were among the healthiest humans ever
>>
>>4830192
>how did they go extinct
Famine, pandemics, and competition for resources through violence.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holodomor

https://www.britannica.com/event/Black-Death
>>
>>4830192
>Hunter-gatherers were among the healthiest humans ever
Until they got tetanus, of course.
>>
>>4828922
>Its animal torture forcing your dog to hear constant traffic
I mean the noise of traffic is also literal torture for humans but nobody gives a fuck about this because muh car
>>
>>4830331
But they didn’t go extinct. Yeah their numbers were cut down but the descendants of those people are still around today. The Holodomor was a very purposeful orchestrated event, and the Black Death would have happened with or without farming being around
>>4830342
Funnily enough, lack of diseases was one of the reasons for it. Zoonotic diseases didn’t emerge until domestication of animals became widespread enough.
>>
>>4830443
>their numbers were cut down
Severely, more close to extinction than not.

>famines and pandemics would've occurred with or without farming
The lack of infrastructure that these agrarian societies had were the leading characteristic in the disproportionate deaths. If Ukraine had been a more industrialized country. They could’ve survived holdomor. Pandemics disenfranchise impoverished individuals more often than not which we can see using modern data. Poor farmers are disenfranchised again, for the same reason: they don’t have access to any semblance of medicine brought on by a city’s drive for scientific innovation.
>>
>>4830533
>they don’t have access to any semblance of medicine
Nor can afford it*
