Adopted my first cat yesterday :3Her name is HoneyShe was extremely shy at first and just wanted to sit in the corner but got very curious throughout the night and eventually ended up in my bed with lots of attention, went to sleep purring. I love her and I can't wait to get off work to go see her Has anyone else recently adopted of purchased a new friend?

This is my venus, my fire, my desire. Her name is Princess, and she bloody acts like one. Dunno what her breed is, she is a rescue.I figure she has a fair dose of ragamuffin, she is super chill all the time. She is an excellent mouser, very diligent in her duties.Her favorite pastimes include snoozing in the sun, snacking, drinking from the tub faucet, bird watching and crunching mouse skulls.

She is so nice Genuinely such a good catHasn't hissed or pissed on the walls or knocked anything important over (yet) and I'm just genuinely surprised at how sweet she is She gets super hyper sometimes too, she likes to jump on my back and I'll hold my arm out like a platform for her to jump off to get to higher ground
Honey is a very cute name.I remember suggesting that name to a childhood friend years ago when her family got a pale ginger cat but they decided to name it Julia instead

This little guy's mom rejected him from her litter on the 12th and Ive been fostering him since that saturday.I dont really blame his mom, she's not even a year old herself and was already painfully thin, and the way he's been pounding down formula there is no fucking way she could produce enough milk for everybody, but it still sucks to see. He was COVERED in flies and fly eggs when I found him, and his eyes are goopy and swollen (because feral cat so of course respiratory infection/conjuctivitis) but he's getting stronger every day, and has nearly doubled in weight since I got him back from the shelter last (with a handful of prescriptions and like two pounds of KMR) nine days ago.Over the course of the rest of the week she ended up rejecting two more of her kids, and my neighbor spotted the final kitten actively endangering its life by climbing a garden fence over a cinderblock abyss, so the rest of her kids are off to the shelter as well. God speed little doodles, I can only imagine you're doing as well as our boy here, as he was the smallest, weakest and sickest of you at the start.

He's figuring out that you have to go to a specific place to piss, so Im building him a tiny litter box to use in his new slightly larger enclosure (he was so young he couldn't thermoregulate so I have him in an old hospital enclosure for a snake, complete with thermostatted heat lamp.
