Maybe someone here can help me identify the ashole which bit me the other day. It was like half an inch long, very slim, had wings that were see through but spotted with black, and was triangle shaped when it sat down but much thinner than your fly in op pic. Sadly i don't have a pic as it flew away immediately. The bite hurt like a bitch, almost like a wasp's sting. Four days later the place where it got me is still red and hot and hurts. I never saw a fly like that before (middle european here)
