>live in apartment>Upstairs neighbor is some old lady>Constantly hear her food steps, because she walks like her feet weight 100 pounds.>Constantly hear her praising the lord.(I suppose watching some church shows)>Smell weed wafting down when she's getting high.>She keeps setting off her smoke alarm, multiple times a week.>She blasts her music loudly.>Finally decide to fight back and turn my own music up.(I have good speakers, I just don't use them, in lieu of headphones)>Stop hearing her music for a while.>"Finally! I think she took the hint">Suddenly start hearing barking throughout the day.>Don't know which direction the barking comes from. "It's a shame they lifted the no pet policy here">Suddenly smell something weird coming from my kitchen area.>Assume a mouse died behind the walls, even though it doesn't really smell like a dead mouse.(yes, I know what that smells like)>Have exterminators come over, and they see no signs of mice, and plug up a hole behind my fridge.>Still smelling the smell.>"Upstairs neighbor is stomping a lot today. I wonder if she has grandkids">Hear barking again>It sounds close>Triangulate the direction>It starts to dawn on me.>The barking is coming from upstairs.>The smell is dirty wet fur, mixed with animal excretions.>The stomping is a dog having zoomies, jumping up and down, and thumping its tailHoly hell, my noisy neighbor got a living noise maker. How long until this thing dies? 10 years? I have no idea what breed it is. By some crazy coincidence, I've never seen her take the dog out. Only heard it barking outside. Judging by its bark, and ability to make noise, it sounds like a medium sized dog. I don't know if I can take this. Would it be wrong to report these problems to the apartment owners? I mean, I might have been able to confront the old lady about her noise. But once the dog is in the picture, there's really no reasoning with a dog. Right? To be fair, the smell did go away.(for now)

>>4907504>Would it be wrong to report these problems to the apartment owners? No, it would not be wrong.>I've never seen her take the dog out. This is the issue. A dog needs stimulation and exercise. Without it they become neurotic and destructive, which is why it is making noise all the time. Most dog breeds, if taken care of well, will be pretty calm at home. Most people just aren't suitable for pet ownership of any kind.
At least he wont be hungry for a while
