is there a better answer for the question "which animal would like to be?" than whales? just swim around the world and open your mouth to eat.

I think if you were born a whale it would be one thing but if you suddenly became a whale with a human mind it would be so scary and strange. You could barely see anything, ocean is loud, odd creatures are touching you even burying into your skin all the time, there are little sharks and other creatures that could come and bite off chunks of your skin. Then you have to dive into cold and darkness to find food which there is less and less each year. And then only social interaction is to float in open ocean beeping hoping another whale of the same kind can hear you over sound of ships and submarines and such.

Andean Condor
>very low birthrate so parents will dote on you for years until they're absolutely sure you'll survive
>grow to be the largest flying thing on the planet, soaring over the mountainous Andes as the uncontested ruler of the skies
>eat dead whales and llamas while scaring away any lesser scavengers that dare try to steal your carrion
>mate for life with your hot bird wife and live for a long and posperous 80 years after raising many children together
>look like this

birbs that can fly seem like a standard answer but I think navigating the world in 3D instead of just being stuck on the crust like a chump is just too good. I always get jealous of these fucks when I see them hopping around on rooftops, switching to trees, to the ground and then to a lamppost or some shit without much effort

Whale would be abject horror for me.

Now birb... that I could live with.
A peregrine falcon would be nice. Or maybe a big ass Mongolian golden eagle(bigger than the American variety).

Continuing with the other anons and their bird theme, Osprey. Get to live somewhere overlooking the sea, hunt and eat tasty fish, and ride the coastal updrafts all day.
>>
If I was going to be an animal I would just pick an animal with high intelligence and capability
If I retain my human intellect then I pick an ant queen and shit out high IQ ant babies

And another one.
>>
I thought whale was cool because it's easy, almost automatic life. but you anons are now making me reconsider, a bird's life could really be cool depending on the bird.
>>4934250
this air surfing really seems awesome
>>
>>4934250
Frigatebird was my second option because of this. Only reason its not no. 1 is because they nig fish from other birds.
>>
wandering albatross. get to fly across the southern hemisphere for 50 years.

Being a bird would suck all you do is fly around trying to avoid other birds pecking at your neck trying to make you vomit all day. I'd want to be some mindless bug that lives for six hours trying to get bug pussy in an utterly meaningless mercifully short pointless life. Exactly the same as every other animal but at least it's over quick.
>>
>>4934819
Now that I think of it we propably drew the shittiest lot of all animals. Very long lived and hyper self aware at the same time, it's the ultimate suffering combination

Falcon. His life is mostly about skydiving. Also I like fish.

If not a falcon or any other birb, I would become an orca cause it's just the most badass

Brown bears are nowhere near this intelligent or complex. They're less intelligent than capybaras.
>>
>>4935154
Nope, they are intelligent.
>muh cortical neuron count
There is more to intelligence than neuron count, or that would also make the Kudu smarter than a dog.
>>
>>4935169
Kudus are definitely more intelligent than bears.

You won't see kudus doing this:

>cannibalism
That doesn't mean they aren't smart enough to enjoy aesthetic pleasures. How do you know what level of intelligence that requires?
>>
>>4935184
Did you watch the videos? Bears will even kill each other for no real reason at all. They'll do it even when food is abundant.
>>
>>4935184
>retard stares into space
>it must be appreciating aesthetics!
its staring at an open space waiting for prey to appear. every predator is programmed to do this. YOU are programmed to do this. prey animals look all around expecting to be attacked, predators stare at one wide area waiting for something to attack.
>but they relax tho!
they weigh a literal tonne, they need to take stress off their limbs sometimes.

bears are not very smart. you're just witnessing how "smart" dumb animals actually are because their bodies are more equipped to express their intelligence in ways that are immediately obvious to you.
>>
>>4935184
You're retarded, just like the bears:
