Only horses involved in big money shit are that expensive and fucked up designer breed abominations. Depending on where you live you can easily get an entire horse for like 300 bucks or even for free.The real expense is paying for the land, food and especially medical shit. If a horse gets sick it could easily bankrupt you in modern times.
