Does anyone here like reptiles or own them? Let's discuss reptiles.I'm considering getting one of these. A standings day gecko. Has anyone had one? How is owning one? I heard theyre like other geckos but need less humidity.I have owned several other geckos, Tokays and a leopard gecko. They had to be rehomed or died when I went to jail. Not in jail anymore .Need something my mom can take care of if i get locked up or psych warded again. I have a blue tongued skink that is over 25 years old currently, owned him since I was like 8. He survived me going to jail my mom fed him fruit and cat food. He likes ground beef or cat/dog food and fruits.

>>5060646Only experience I really have with reptiles is with one specific species: Diadophis punctatus. There's only maybe five different species of snakes I've seen on my property over the past 5 years, and this is the most common. For the most part, I just work with Hymenoptera.

day geckos are much more particular and fragile than a leopard and tokay, if they can't survive without you a day does not have a chance. if somebody can do frozen mice while you're busy I think you want a nice big low-temp snake, like a gopher or a black milk
