Persona 5 has so much fucking dialogue between every single action you take. I don't mind it personally but it's a bit inexcusable (to me) when it also happens a ton in the palaces.I still cried tho

And dialogue doesn't have to be the only thing driving characterization forward. I was very impressed with Final Fantasy 4 because that gayme used game mechanics and gameplay in a very masterful way to tell a story. One of the characters you temporarily have in your party is an old man and he actually LOSES stats (physical ones like strength and stamina) to indicate that he's WAY past his prime and growing old.autism
