Since this board is dead, I guess i can say that canton network today basically confirmed they're not gonna bother with providing interoperabililty with non-canton networks. Infact, they explicitly stated that thirdparty bridges or stablecoin rails and providers (read: banks) will suffice as the interoperability point. Anyhow, they confirmed this a few months ago in an obscure forum post, so nothing but just another check

Now, I'm very much interested in how banks will solve this interoperability problem, and if there is any overhead commitee that might provide a nice one?
