Bitcoin is not quantum resistant
>>

My massive power schlong is quantum resistant.

Omg did you see the heckin gold plates and glass tubes bro? Quantum computing is soooo cool!!

quantum computers don't even exist

shitoshi's coins will move in the next 20 years
>>
Sp-sp-spooky action fr-from a distance??
>>
>>58690872
probably. who knows if they can actually scale that shit. rn it's pitiful.
>>
>>58689933
Truth.
I don't know why maxicels are so emotionally attached to BTC (the first crypto) somehow being the perfect cryptocurrency for the rest of time.
>>
>>58691004
>what is a software and why does it changes
>>
>>58691050
BTC changes are extremely hard, it's changed exceptionally little over 16 years as a piece of software. Especially comparing to chains that are designed to be upgradable.
>>
>>58689933
That’s correct. Bitcoin will last until the first quantum computer starts working even half decently. Probably 5 years until BTC is history.
>>
it's been over a decade and the bitcoin community still has no post-quantum plan
>>
>>58689933
This is not the only weak point, a very efficient AI would break BTC.
>>
>>58689933
it's still the thing that keeps my bags alive, and also what keeps me locked in here, I better not say anything, I don't want to get my $trump screwed again

QAN is

If Bitcoin dips, I'm loading up on more AAST, easy peasy.

what would you recommend past btc

4chan is not faggot resistant
>>

>no explanation how, just repeats the same npc bullshit over and over.
>does not understand how AI works
>does not understand how bitcoin works

ok bro.
>>
>>58694359
Fact.
>>
QR migration is not BTC specific, QC are still decades away, the "1000" qubit QCs aren't high quality qubits so are practically worthless. Cry, seethe, dilate
>>
>>58692332
That's a good thing in trustless money, slavemind
>>
>>58695123
all it takes is one breakthrough in materials science and that timeline speeds up very quickly. better to act preemptively than be forced to react because you blew it off
>>
>>58695136
> all it takes is one breakthrough in materials science SQUARED
Correct.
>>
>>58689933
The mere existence of privacy preserving haircomb on the bitcoin chain disproves your theory
>>
I've seen some quantum resistant token already back in january 2018, don't know what became of those.
>>
>>58695136
>but what if magic?!
QR migration is not BTC specific
QR migration is not BTC specific
QR migration is not BTC specific

If magic breakthrough happened tomorrow it would still take years to scale to meaningful QCs, migration would take less than a year in a needs-must scenario, any crash caused by sudden advances in QC would be a fantastic buying opportunity, anyway
>>
>>58695388
the more you spam a line the more it seems like cope. it's way easier for centralized systems to migrate (some already have) and bitcoin has its unique challenges with no clear solution. satoshi's coins, for instance, for which all of the public keys are visible and which cannot be accessed through conventional means. how will you migrate them?
>>
>>58695453
>t. mindless follower
Organic systems are infinity more robust to significant change. In a "magic happens" scenario we'd fork to a "no Satoshi coins" chain, this fork would dominate as it would be more desirable than one where his coins are claimed by the crackers. In a realistic scenario, QR wallets would be added, a migration timeline would be developed, and after migration old wallets would no longer valid. Easy peasy.
>>
>>58695483
>we'll just censor satoshi's coins
lol
>>
quantum computing is science fiction just shut up

Yes. Needs-must, faggot.

>uhh sorry sweetie but a completely free market in trustless money is communism, ok?!
Mentally ill statist slavemind
>>
>>58692379
categorically false, if quantum computers can break it quantum computers can secure it
>>
>>58692332
Because the refusal to just upheave it imbues trust. It's successful because it's basically unchanged. If it needed to be quantum resistant they would do it.
>>
>>58692379
You realize quantum tech is well beyond what we think it is.

Various quantum computers are already online and nothing happened.
