I've been a project manager for over 4 years in the UK but I've always been on a temporary contract. 2 permanent positions came up in the same department + same team that I am already working and I applied.

I just got told I was not successful at interview for a job I am already doing. Suffice to say I literally do not give a fuck anymore.

I have 3 months left on my contract and I have never called in sick in the whole 4 years. I get full pay when sick for up to 12 months as part of my contract (£48.5k p/a).

I am going to go off with depression for the last 3 months. What do I need to do / say? How to get past the inevitable strong-arming me back in after a week or two?

Wouldnt know anon, also didint know you can just call in for depression and still get paid, fascinating
Maybe tell your workplace you have long covid or something infectious and tell the doc you have depressikn then only HR will get to read your doc note and colleagues wi think u have a legit reason
