>nobody has EVER beaten the S&P 500
>nobody has EVER made money swing trading
>nobody has EVER made money speculating on memecoins or growth stocks
>arbitrage is IMPOSSIBLE because if it wasn't someone would already be doing it
>also nobody has EVER made money arbitraging
>you CAN'T time the market,
>the market is perfectly efficient so just wage for 50 years and buy and hold 5% IRR index funds okay?

Right, right, plenty of people can do it.
Just not you anon.
The sloppily glued feathers on your arms will not let you fly very high.

It's a free country. You are welcome to try your luck picking stonks and swing trading with leverage. Just understand that even the best and brightest, coupled with AI, still can't predict anything and half of all players end up losing. Nobody is saying winning is impossible; we're just saying it's unnecessarily risky. Also, this isn't some modern take; Babylonians would've told you the same thing. Fools have been losing money on goofy investments for millennia. Why would you not learn from their mistakes?

>you will time the market
>you will pick the right coins/stocks
>you will buy low
>you will sell high
>you will buy low again
>you will take risks
>you will keep reserve cash
>you will outperform the S&P 500 (at least the the short term)

I have made more money timing the market than people make in 20 years holding boomer investments. I have been trading for 6 years.

Pls tell me. How to handle and uptrend. I'm very good at not buying till we're near the bottom and fuck up the green part.

I just get a feeling and I sell. That's basically it. Astrology tier charts laying out shit that doesn't matter won't help. Listening to retards on YouTube and Twitter talking about their stock picks won't help. The only things that will help are understanding investor psychology and being content with simply making a profit and not chasing crazy gains, but that's it.

If you look at the chart for an asset and find you would tell someone else to sell it, you should take your own advice and sell (at least some of it)

Really only applies to parabolic run ups

When you're the one holding it's hard to sell but when it's someone else it's easy to say take profit you stupid fuck
