people set limited buy orders lower that the current price, which means that when the selling happens the dump is absorbed immediately
when the dust settles, the price is more or less where it was before
that's what "priced in" means

Thats possible for not too huge things yes.
Priced in means something else, it means when something bad is beeing frontrunned by selling ahead and then when it happens nobody sells anymore.
Or the other way around with the halving this year.
But if the event is continiued sells it cant be priced in
