Is moving out a terrible decision in this economy? I am 25 and my high school friend offered me a spot in a nice downtown area with good social opportunities for 1500$ a month and close to my hometown. At the same time, I would rather just stack my money up and buy a property at 30 and use my money to go travelling/geomaxxing (sub8 male). I make 70k a year for context. I also have overbearing parents so moving out could help me with my goal of travel in future. Idk what to do bros
>>
overbearing parents are probably why you need to geomaxx more than looks

you're going to buy a property AND geomaxx? to where?
>>
Don't buy property unless you have a wife or kids. There's no point in owning a house as a single guy
>>
moving out is only worth if if you are a chad that can rotate hotties, otherwise whats the point. im 35 and will not move until i make 2 million
>>
>>58779642
true, im not a total trucel but I just dislike the amount of social jestermaxxing american women require. I also dont care for a gf in the states desu, would rather a solid rotation of women and that is simply not possible with my looks level here
>>58779652
true, but I also am tired of living at home and want a change of pace.
>>58779649
Might as well park my money somewhere though
>>

>I also have overbearing parents so moving out could help m
My parents were alcoholic boomer hoarders, moving out at 25 was the best thing I ever did. Wage slaving and coming home to be treated like a child was miserable, I dreamt of blowing my brains out in the back yard.

Only if you can buy a house outright.
If you are paying rent or a mortgage, no way.

>Only if you can buy a house outright.
>If you are paying rent or a mortgage, no way.
and that's just to consider it.
I'm full time geomaxxing right now and having a property back in USA would be a freackin' headache.

unlike a developing country, you can't even even have someone affordably watch over/clean your property whille gone.

>Might as well park my money somewhere though
Diversified stocks are basically uniformly better unless you want to live in a specific dwelling for at least 10-15 years.
>>
>>58779649
So what should one do? Rent?
>>
>>58779628
You should always invest in real-estate. Especially if you're doing it casually.
Don't buy anything at the current crazy inflated value. Buy at pre-crazed price. It will take luck but you'll find something
>>
>>58779628
bump bc same issue i am currently facing
>>
>>58779628
You never know what future hodls… I hope my kas, ocean, fun hodlings can allow me to buy more first property asap

no need to buy property now, you need to get ahead and invest in crypto now, that's the only way bro, get some btc on that ass eth and some thriving alts, $super, $bnb and if you can but I wont recommend some shit coins, buy some maga shit that's gonna moon and short before and after elections, take care lil bro
>>
>>58779628
Moving to a new place and starting from scratch is never a bad idea, it helped me a lot to relax my head and face some inner demons, I was even able to start holding some Spike
>>

I don't think anyone who locked in a 2% mortgage is complaining
US mortgages are basically a form of welfare, if you are smart setting them up they are a massive financial advantage
>>
>>58782107
Americans having the ability to actually lock in interest rates for their mortgage is incredible. Auscucks get 'lock-in' ('fixed rate') mortgages that re-adjust after 5 years
>>
>>58779628
just give him 100-200 bucks then hang out there by weekend. you get the social op. made your friend happy , and save your money.

inb4 seafagging
we are doomed since we are sub7, that is all. all we can do to rotate hot girls is escorts so get rich.
>>
>>58779628
yea stay at home vesta ano, play games, until you have made enough then move to a luxury house
>>
>>58779628
You can't buy back time, just rent, and try to live frugally (ie don't go crazy on toys and shit once you're away from your parents).

I get the point of living with parents to save money but some people really over do it and underplay the opportunity costs in doing so.
>>
>>58779628
It's a waste of money if you're renting, nothing wrong with living with your parents like people used to do less than a hundred years ago. Moving out is a jewish boomer meme that has become as unsustainable as it was back in the day. If you love your parents it's also not that bad either, I provide over 50% of the house expenses these days and hope that I can get my parents sorted when I finally am in a good enough financial position to move out with someone else.
>>
>>58779628
>paying rent
cuck behavior
>>
>>58779628
how about renting for $100/mo in a non leveraged country
>>
>>58779628
dont buy a property yet dude, you will have a better use for your time farming money playing panda roll on the side, just travel to someplace else and explore the world but dont settle down now or you WILL regret it, trust me, been there, done that
>>
>>58782874
Whats panda roll
>>

>Friend
>Offers for you to pay him $1500 a month for a shoebox
My guy, I pay $680 a month to my landlord and that includes internet in a fully furnished apartment with washer and dryer. You're better off staying at home. You'll save money on dates since nobody will wanna date someone living at home. Just put it all in crypto and buy a house within the next seven hears.
>>
>>58779649
Buying a house as a single guy was the best investment I've made, better than the 80x I got from LINK

I moved out a few years ago and i regret it, at first it was nice, some peace and quiet and just being able to do my own thing. But now i'm just lonely and barely have any money to invest every month. I would go back if i could but it would be super weird to tell them and move back in, my dad would also think i'm a failure and can't pay my rent, but i'm just lonely, i miss talking to someone when i get back from work, i miss spending time with the dogs and going on walks with them

I don’t understand travel. Why do so much people want to do it. Like you go to new place to do what exactly? Look at the different scenery and do activities? Most of which could just be done where you already live
