Is there any rational reason to work a job if your net worth is over 1 million dollars?
>>
>>58780729
That doesn't even buy you a house these days
>>
>>58780729
If your jobs pays something like 100k after taxes, but I wouldn't do it.
>>
>>58780729
how would you live from that million dollars specifically?
I keep hearing LARPers but no one explains what asset allocation would give you revenue while not melting up that million dollar in the process

inb4 muh CD at 5%

do you tards realize they are lowering interest rates soon
>>
>>58780834
aave has stablecoin interest above 5%
>>
>>58780729
1 million dollars is fucking nothing
>>
>>58780729
there's a lot of reasons to work
cuz ur a poor ass bitch, for one
loool a million dollars. a lot of money? A LOT OF MONEY R U 4 REAL kek
>>
>>58780895
$1 million dollars USD is a lot of money
>>
>>58780841
>just put your entire net worth in some SHITCOIN BRO
>>
>>58780909
take. that. back.

now.
>>
>>58780729
The only rational reason is that you like money and want to stack more by working a fun or fulfilling job
>>
>>58780729
I own a million
my work?
I trade niggers online for fun
>>
All these retards in the post don't know that having money can make you more money so that you don't have to work
>>
>>58780834
"LARPers"... just because you're uninformed, doesn't make others LARPers.

Stocks with dividends is one of main ways to retire.

5-10% dividend stocks with 1 mil gets you 50-100k a year. If you want to be super safe you can go on the lower end. The first 40K in stocks returns if you don't have other income isn't even taxable. Basically equivalent to a job that pays about 55-60K a year. Unless you need more than that, you can retire off it. Easily done if you're single and don't want a family or if you purchased a house when mortgage rates were low.
>>
>>58780729
Greed?
>>
>>58780729
I could neet for the rest of my life with 1 mil

Maybe work if you have a family but I’m an incel
>>
>>58781258
>single and don't want a family
every biztard fits this description. funny how the PA home posting that nobody would ever buy into persists while a real targeted ad would be beach villas in SE Asia for $400/month. like some biz anon that made it off crypto would buy a shitshack 4br for 500k in fucking PA. really, who the fuck are those listings intended for on here?

If you get everything you want the minute you want it then life becomes boring, for what reason do you think I hold $brainlet after I have made it in 2021?
>>
>>58780729
Depends if you see consumerism as rational
1 million buys you a nice house and that's it, you can't retire from that
>>
>>58780834
If interest rates go down higher yield bonds become more valuable so that would be one play to maximize net worth before moving to other things.
>>
1. You don't want to be a miser for the rest of your life
2. You find your work enjoyable and fulfilling
>>
>>58780729
Yeah, 1 million will last for like 2 years or something, then you're broke again.
>>
>>58780729
no but humans are fundamentally irrational creatures, so just do what makes you FEEL good

feeling useful, mostly, i have all my needs met and a long term investment that will yield me 10k each month until im 65 which makes my need for work completely nonexistent, and yet i find myself working anyway because i like working, i like feeling useful, i like waking up in the morning and doing all the little office idiosyncrasies like chatting over cofffee and pizza parties, i might be crazy and yeah some jeet will tell me that he makes much more neeting and farming aidrops on the unicorn chain or shorting ethereum or doing dca on son no name shitcoin but im happy like this
>>
>>58780729
Hate-fucking a harridan from HR
>>
>>58780729
No one can answer that question because they're all wagies themselves. So they either have no idea what to do with even $100k or they revert to "work" being "fulfilling" because it's all they know. NEETS are the closest to the truth because they spew bile over the wagie mentality about $1mm but they themselves can't manage sub-$2k trading portfolio or manage their endless free time to develop actually emancipating and profitable skills.
>>
>>58781465
Just offer them money for blowjob, retard
>>
I could comfortably live out my life with one million dollars considering I live on $140 a week.
>>
I have around 1.1 million on paper, but it doesn’t feel like a lot because of how it’s allocated. something like 400k split between an IRA and 401k, 600k mostly in AAPL and VTI, and the rest in cash. psychologically I only ever think about the cash part.
