alexa how many dollars do banks transfer and settle a second in the world?
>>
>>59228129
Based on the search results, it’s challenging to provide an exact figure for the number of American dollars transferred between banks per second globally. However, I can offer some insights and estimates:

Daily international transactions: According to the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), the average daily value of international transactions (including wire transfers, SWIFT messages, and other payment systems) is around $6 trillion (USD).
Wire transfer volumes: A report by SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications) states that in 2020, it processed over 5.7 billion wire transfers, with a total value of approximately $145 trillion (USD).
Transfer frequency: Assuming an average transfer size of $1,000 (a conservative estimate), and considering the 5.7 billion wire transfers processed by SWIFT in 2020, we can estimate the frequency of transfers:
5,700,000,000 transfers/year ÷ 8,760 hours/year (accounting for leap years) ≈ 654,000 transfers per hour 654,000 transfers/hour ÷ 60 minutes/hour ≈ 10,900 transfers per minute 10,900 transfers/minute ÷ 60 seconds/minute ≈ 182 transfers per second
>>
>>59228134

if you Add XRP to this equation what would be it's price if all the money settled through it

To estimate the potential price of XRP if all global financial settlements were conducted using it, we can follow a theoretical approach. This involves dividing the total value of money being settled globally by the circulating supply of XRP.
1. Global Money Settled Per Second

Based on earlier calculations, global financial settlement is estimated at $100–$200 million per second, factoring in SWIFT, RTGS systems, Forex, and retail payment networks. This translates to $8.6 trillion to $17.3 trillion per day.

For simplicity, let's assume the total daily settlement is $10 trillion.
2. Circulating Supply of XRP

As of now, the circulating supply of XRP is approximately 53 billion XRP.
Note: The total supply is 100 billion XRP, but a portion is held in escrow or by Ripple and may not be in circulation immediately.

3. XRP Utilization Assumption

If 100% of global settlements were conducted using XRP, and XRP's velocity is 1 (used once per transaction per day), the price per XRP can be calculated as:
Price of XRP=Total Settled Value Per DayCirculating Supply
Price of XRP=Circulating SupplyTotal Settled Value Per Day
Price of XRP=$10trillion53billion XRP≈$188.68per XRP.
Price of XRP=53billion XRP$10trillion≈$188.68per XRP.
4. Adjusting for Velocity

If XRP is reused multiple times per day (higher velocity), its price would decrease accordingly:
Effective XRP Price=Daily SettlementCirculating Supply×Velocity
Effective XRP Price=Circulating Supply×VelocityDaily Settlement

At velocity = 2: XRP price = $94.34.
At velocity = 5: XRP price = $37.74.

yes but that's also assuming it's being utilized most people retail are just going to hold and not use.
>>
>>59228182

Well if it makes you feel better, I used to have 45k xrp back in 2021 ( when SOLO mooned to 6 xrp per coin). Pushed my luck and went all in Vagabond at 0.25 xrp per coin and that one also mooned to 1.6 xrp per coin. My biggest mistake was I didn't pull out and kept it in there thinking it will still go up, then boom Ukrain-Russia war happened and everything plummeted, but despite all that, I STILL KEPT IT THERE believing it will recover, but it didnt. Now All my xrp are gone and im left with 300 xrp. Most pathetic decision in my life, yet I'm still optimistic for the future of XRP.

did you know SWIFT is a cooperatively owned business? all the members are probably evil psychopathic bankers and belgian child-eating aristocrats etc but still, i think it's neat that one of the world economy's foundational pieces of infrastructure is a co-op.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SWIFT
The Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (Swift), legally SWIFT SC, is a cooperative established in 1973 in Belgium.

As of May 2024, the members directly represented on the board of directors were JPMorgan Chase (chair), Lloyds Bank (deputy chair), Bank of China, BNP Paribas, BPCE, Citi, Clearstream, Commerzbank, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Deutsche Bank, Euroclear, FirstRand, HSBC, ING, Intesa Sanpaolo, KBC, MUFG, NatWest, Nordea, Royal Bank of Canada, Santander, SEB, UBS (2 representatives following the acquisition of Credit Suisse), as well as the Association of Banks in Singapore

He stopped posting under one user ID and started IP address hoping under several user IDs.
He was posting non stop rage bait posts and demoralization for months.
Then he got bored of that, because he wasn't getting many (you)s anymore.
So he switched over to making posts that seem positive at first, but are actually subtly mocking XRP bagholders.
If he does say something positive, he'll do it in a saccharine and fake way.
Despite what he says at times, he does hold XRP.

He is a parasite.
All of his happiness comes at other people's expense.

people like these retard don't know what they are talking about and have never used Bitcoin outside of exchanges. You realize Bitcoin is slow because exchanges select the lowest fees on transfers to keep as much as your fee in their pocket as possible? Fees so low in priority they get offloaded to block completion by miners which is why it will only complete every 10 minutes. If you had your own wallet like Sparrow where you could adjust the fees and pay even recommended moderate price (maybe 2-3x lowest sats per UTXO), the transactions would finalize in seconds. Lightning network is there for transactions that wouldn't even be worth the fees in dust to transfer. You could transfer $1000 with maybe 7¢ in fees with the lowest option being like 121 sats per UTXO if you're willing to wait the full 10 minutes. People have verified transactions on chain of coin transfers valued in the millions with only like $100 in frees

BTC is slow as fuck and inefficient. You need to abstract it because it is a glorified proof of concept. I don't need to use some shitty third party service to transfer my crypto from A to B in maybe 10 minutes because the network is congested 100% of the time and costs a fortune. With XRP I chose the wallet I want to send to and send the amount of XRP to it via the XRPL. It reaches it's destination in ~4 seconds for very little money.

>>59229798
>because then you become a number in the machine and the tyrannical globohomo NWO won
A leopard never changes it's spots. People will want to dominate others and that's how Governments end up becoming an atrocity. XRP is just a technology, just like BTC. Both can be used for good or evil.

>imagine having a hot wallet connected at all times to the internet leaving your funds 100% exposed to thieves 24/7
BLUE also has extremely low fees and quick transaction speeds. You're throwing away the security of the Bitcoin network for 2% faster processing times and 2% lower fees + supporting one of the most centralized chains in crypto (don't forget to fill out the memo!)
