According to reports AI technology has hit a wall, if this is true, doesn't that mean that the stock bubble build up by AI will collapse, wouldn't this mean another dot com bubble, meaning hundreds of millions worldwide will lose their job and wealth?

Not really. Quantum computing is right around the corner. If anything the AI space has a lot of room to grow.
