I don't see the reason to keep 3 months of living expenses sitting in fiat doing nothing when credit cards exist. Nothing ever happens anyways

Building up credit card debt when you are unemployed and don't know where y our next paycheck will come from is one of the most retarded things you can do with you money.

3 months of absolutely bare bones living expenses should be at most 5k usd. If you can’t leave 5k alone for a legit emergency you should definitely go financially FUCK yourself

If you get fired or laid off it’s nice to know you’ve got 90 days to figure shit out. 6 months or even a year is preferable but I can understand why some people would think that’s overkill.
