Let's say I have staked my whole stack and want to sell 100 linkies, what happens when you click the "claim rewards" button? Does it unstake your whole stack?
>want to sell 100 linkiesgreat job anon, how about you unstake and sell the rest while you're at it?
How much do you get for staking?
>>59240595A whopping 4.32%! Sure you could make more with basic bitch cash in a standard savings account, but by holding your LINK in the community pool for significantly less yield you're buying your stake in the digital economy of the future! LFG MARINES!
>>59240296You'll lose build rewards when they come
>>59240765it's 4.32% in link not usd retardwe're in a bull marketat $30, a fully staked wallet is making $20k a year
>>59240296"claim rewards" is completely different from unstaking your principle"claim rewards" does not even reset the 30 day or whatever windup time for stakingyou could "claim rewards" every 12 hours if you really wanted to, but would waste a ton of eth gas
>>59240865>it's 4.32% in link not usd retardIt doesn't fucking matter when LINK is a complete piece of shit with no pumpamentals. Sergey is gonna keep on dumping to ensure that the price remains in the teens the entire way through the bull run. Your savings account will earn a better yield.
what happens if i never claim my rewards, because im never selling? i guess it doesn't matter actually
>>59241281lel. there are still some stinkers in the v0.1 pool
>>59240865So 10k a year then seeing as it hasn't been near 30 in yonks
>>59240296You claim your rewards (they get sent your wallet) and the 90 day ramp up window resets.
>>59242837the reset doesn't happen if you only claim rewards.
>>59242883It's on the site my dude.https://staking.chain.link/rewards
>>59240296I claim my rewards every month. It's about $1,000/month. I sell and pay bills with it, it's pretty cool. I have about 25% of my stack staked across 2 wallets. If they open the pool again I'll go all in if I can. Good luck, anon.
>>59242956And here is another where I claimed tokens (and restaked them but the ramp period reset before I restaked but after claiming them so this isn't all that helpful).
>>59242956>>59242978Shit I'm a retard. It says >>59242883 you are correct.
>>59241423we're in a bull market and $30 is very conservativethe idea is to sell withdraw and sell your rewards when they're high
>>59240296someone ELI5 how to stake my link
>>59243136monitorhttps://staking.chain.link/or use stake.linkmore risk there tho
>>59243136get a hardware wallet, generate keys, use keys to send link to https://staking.chain.link/ when room in the pool is open, stake link, link generates link, claim rewards, move link from wallet to coinbase, sell for globohomo fiat(dollars), buy a big mac and throw it in the toilet
>>59243174why is there more risk with stake.link?
>>59243190Horserimmer has fucked over his community at least twice already
>>59243581But the actual service and protocol is running without a hitch. Sucks if you're an LP/LPL/SDL holder but at this point, it's a convenient platform for those who are late to the game. I've tossed in 100 Link which is nothing to my stack. But really I'm experimenting because we don't know how the BUILD airdrop distribution will be. Will they give each address a flat cut? Or will node operators receive a cut out of the community staking pool like the reward rate currently going on now? It's quite possible stake.link will receive more BUILD reward per token staked than staking directly in the community staking pool. But we don't know how the future staking functions will be incoporated as a community staker versus staking via the Stake.link platform.
>>59240765this. so much this. as a fellow APY hunter, I could care less what the asset is as long as the APY is high. the 4.32% APY on link never made sense to me when there are coins with which i could be earning 100%, 1000%, hell even 10000%. in fact i even have a little motto to describe my thoughts on APY. goes a little something like this: "if it's high APY, who cares why. if the APY is low, that's a big no no." keeps me focused and motivated to continue the hunt. your head's in the right place, keep at it.
>>59243190stake.link has additional smart contracts built on top so you have some risk there. it has been heavily audited thoughjust like how there's a risk staking link with staking.chain.link as opposed to just holding the token in your walleta small risk but it's there
>>59243581it was only once but this isn't a risk with stake.link as tokenomics are far more realisticthat whole situation has really fucked them over though with og link community. the hardest thing to build and easiest to lose is reputationi feel a bit bad for them though as what happened was when they launched back in 2018, they drank the chainlink koolaid a bit too much and gave far too generous rewards. this really fucked them. they should have just come clean to the community and reduced the rewards but instead went for the nuclear option, and right when staking launched. not good.
>>59240765>>59241249aww look how upset this gay little retard isim just gonna keep buying the thing the banks are excited to start usingsimple asgot a problem with it? try making hundreds of angry posts about it every day - just for something different lmao
