Someone airdropped me a shitcoin that’s worth $88k. I looked it up and it has a 1/100 score and it’ can’t be sold or traded. It’s obviously some kind of scam but what’s the point of them doing this? Im not going to show the name because I dont want to get banned for advertising, especially for this garbage. Its screwing up my CMC balance and it’s kind of irritating
>>59245389it's a scam literally do not redeem
ETH is not a scam sirrr, its a legit coinz look it up
Which chain? If it's on ETH, send it to Vitalik.
>>59245397Does it count towards my net worth even though I can never sell it?
you will have to pay taxes on it
>>59245422It’s a token on ETH, I’m afraid to try to do anything with it because the contract could have some nary crap in it that rugs me. Idk.
>>59245389The scam should go something like this:A site will pop up that allows you to "trade" it but will require withdrawal perms on your entire wallet and not just that token. Then they drain the wallet
It's a scam because it will require some extra token to be bought and paid into a contract in order to "redeem" as >>59245397 said but there's no actual liquidity in the contract. They get money from people trying to redeem
>>59245389a bit rude to call BTC a shitcoin. show some respect son
>>59245389Apparently this token drains your eth balance when trying to sell. The ticket is ETHG, I saw the same thing earlier today when I checked my wallet
>>59245455>>59245668Damn jeets are getting so creative
I actually have a similar problem with a Solana coin. Price fluctuates from a few hundreds to a few thousands constantly and when I try to sell it's telling me price impact will be 100%. Selling it doesn't work because slippage
>>59245740>>59245389We should be allowed to burn these at no charge
another weird thing I just noticed is people posting a screnshot of a wallet with the seed phrase visible and like $5k worth of tether in itwhat the fuck kind of scam could that bedoxing bait? or maybe it really is just some clueless boomer
>>59245805well it's not free money if that's what you're thinking...scammers are always 3 steps ahead.Just look at the lengths they go to in videogames like runescape.
>>59245805the scam is you cant use tether for transactions you have to use a network so they want you to load that wallet with enough of something to pull the tether but they drain it before you have a chance
>>59245389Hello saar. Very great news. Please redeem.
>>59245790sol-incinerator
>>59245740>>59245790you faggots know you can just hide these from your wallets right? then you never have to think about it again
DO NOT REDEEM MAAM
>>59245389>>59245740>>59245805kek I had the same but with some shittoken worth $300.000when I opened my portfolio that mornign my heart jumped and I couldnt think for 10 minutesthen just decided to hide the balance
>>59245389Simple solution: 1 - Send this to a new wallet 2 - Try selling in the new wallet As simple as Take advantage of another tip: Buy Cheese and store it
>>59245427Yes by receivving it you now owe taxes on it. Good luck explaining to the IRS that some pajeet you don't know sent you 88k$ which is an antisemitic number too.
>>59246208Yeah but you never know. When I had a DeGod and an SMB I used to get airdropped tons of random tokens that would show up at $1.26 - $300 of value in phantom.Turns out I got airdropped about $10K worth of BONK since I held it over a year.
