Due to psychological reasons, whole coin is unaffordable for a vast majority of people. There have been many suggestions on how to tackle this, such as creating a name for a value closer to a dollar. However I think it might be a good idea to find names for denominations far above a dollar, but still things more people could afford. For example, a tenth of a bitcoin, a hundredth of a bitcoin. The first would be affordable to 10X as many people, and the second 100X as many people. However, this idea is fresh in my head, and I haven't gotten any good ideas yet. I was thinking we could brainstorm together about this idea, perhaps it is a shitty one. I do like the idea of it starting with "Bit" though. Please take the time to think about this and post your opinions. Even feedback, good or bad is appreciated. Picture unrelated.
>>59245873Off the top of my head, I do have 3 ideas for a tenth of a BTC. These are: BitTenth, BitDime, and BitSlice.
>>59245873Most goods should be priced in Satoshis. Things priced in BTC should be major purchases such as real estate or industrial equipment (even a car should probably be priced in ETH or Sats).
>>59245919Satoshis suck. They are too small. Who the fuck wants to talk about 0.06 cents amounts? You need over 15 of these for a damn cent. Even then, the point is to make a psychologically more acceptable amount to buy, rather than "a whole bitcoin" which is becoming a thing. A tenth is a good start, it would make the concept of owning "one" or something easier to digest for newcomers.

>>59245945I like BitNick.
>>59245945bitnick, I like it.
