>stop drinking coffee
>retire wealthy
It's that simple.

Coffee is free at my workplace and at my parent's house, which are the only places I drink it.
>>
you think cash you save today will be worth something in 50 years?
>>
>>59246126
why not just make more money

I applied to work at a coffee shop the first time I read this. I'm going to have so much money!

>Is what I am periodically spending money on worth the $736,906.78 interest earnings that I am passing up in the process?
As a multi-millionaire I love that my answer is empathically "Yes". Those little conveniences and luxuries in life are worth that much to me.

Cash invested in stocks will appreciate with inflation.
The 7% growth is on top of inflation.

UhmmMM now this is Not true AT ALL

Cost is much safer to buy n xpresso machine for at the home

YOU only pay like $500 for ONE time only

And then you need cost of the coffee (okay Not so Expensive IF you buy from supermarket)

ELECTRICITY POWER, also interesting, but IF you have solar panels, Not so expensive then

You also need stuff like MILK or SUGAR

Yes can be expensive, but only during peak and hard times

So I would SAY it coul dbe much cheaper to just make your own coffee, as investment

but yeah, you also need to TAKE into account stuff like time

IT is probably still cheaper and more convenient to just buy a coffee 1 time a day for 5 dollars

Just my opinion

you have to be at least 18 years old to post on this website. Also milk and sugar in coffee is for subhumans and simply ruins the flavour. If you're not going to drink black coffee or straight espresso, just don't drink coffee at all.

im sorry but you're a fucking retard. I agree with the sugar part but exploring the milk side of the world of espresso is amazing. Why do you think there's so many drinks with just those two ingredients? Lattes, cappucino, cortado, flat white, etc. They go hand in hand and the milk rounds out the flavor of strong espresso. You are deeply mistaken and this whole "hur you're not a man if you don't drink coffee BLACK" is for fags. Not having milk doesn't make you more of a man. It's okay to enjoy coffee with milk.

My wife also laughs at me all the time. I ended up teaching her how to make coffee the right way, she always wonders why no matter what she does it's never quite as good as mine.

when people give out advice like this it's more for broke crack heads who live paycheck to paycheck. the thing to think about is not how much you save on dumb every day expenses, but how much do you make. because if you make a lot of money over your life time the coffee doesn't matter at all if your income far exceeds your expenses.

>>59246500
You need to redo your math and check assumptions.
Your growth with inflation us more like 3%.

Have fun cleaning that thing. I had an espresso maker for a year and then it turned into a nightmare

this desu, I bought an old commercial Pavoni for $300 (retail is like 5k but this one is 30 years old and needed a couple small repairs). It's plumbed in which is pretty great and is just as good as any machine you can buy today imo.
I make 1 small latte each morning and the beans I buy in bulk for like $6 / lb. So each shot costs me about 25 cents.

But I should stop drinking coffee because it's bad for you.

>just live like a broke hermit for 50 years so you can be lower middle class when you're old!
Why is there such an emphasis on pinching pennies rather than income expansion in entry level finance media? It can help build an initial investment for total brokefags, but it's like the advice is often sold as a lifelong strategy rather than a short to mid term solution.
