33.5 and 52k. I’m objectively a loser. I started to realize about 1-2 years ago that you’re supposed to spend your 20s moving up in some career path and hitting a six figure salary as you enter your 30s. I’ve just job hopped in shitty jobs my entire life and taken long vacations. I’m a security guard and make 22 dollars an hour. The best I can probably do is work a part time job and eke out 1k/week net. I’m too lazy and avoidant to learn any skills that would put me in a professional setting where I actually had to work hard, be accountable, and produce results. For the past 3 years I’ve gotten paid to just sit on my ass and listen to podcasts, YouTube, and read books. If I want more money, I’ll just sit on my ass for more than 40 hours a week, but once you get a taste of sitting on your ass and getting paid to do it you really can’t justify to yourself doing anything else. I love just sitting on my fucking ass and getting paid to do it

>I’m objectively a loser
according to who?
life isn't only about doing a "le career path" and then dying
>>
>>59247118
Realistically you only have to 15-20x your stack (or rather, 2x it then 10x it) on top of inflation to have a comfortable retirement - which 32 years is plenty of time to do that, plus we have a bullrun year coming up

It's not over my friend, it's barely even started
>>
33 and like maybe like ~180k. im a loser too

it is. the basis is at least. if you're neither rich nor have the skills to make yourself valuable before a strict age deadline (your 30s and that's being VERY generous) you lost at life i.e. you're a loser
>>59248062
cope. life is about winning, and winning is about others losing

but winning is not a zero sum game. thats what a loser thinks which is what a crab bucket will get you.
>>
>>59247035
54 missed the boat even though I was always early in on things, but it takes money to make money and that apparently wasn't in my cards, so I was doomed to watch others making bank.

Just kill yourself at this point. I know some guys like you, one of them owns a record store and the other is a cripple from drug use in his 20s and 30s. They live really sad lives. Barely any friends and they haven't had sex with a woman in over 20 years. No family that wants to associate with them either.

I ain't the type to just give up. Sure, I've had my share of hard knocks... but it's never too late, right? Been knocked down before, always find a way to get back on my feet.
