The sickest description I heard was Vitalik built ETH as a superhighway. The idea was anyone can build their business along the highway but you always need the highway to transport your shit. Which comes with requisite tolls for use. What he didnt count on was some guy (Sir guy, if you will) coming along and building a massive fucking airport right on top of his highway.
