>first week back after Christmas holidays>done no work apart from updating a few spreadsheets and sending a few emails and trying to pay attention in some boring meetings>manager is unexpectedly off until the middle of next week>start every day at 9.15 and turn off laptop at 5 pm on the dot>go for a 1 hour walk every lunch timeThe pointlessness of my job has reached a new level. I am spread across multiple teams and areas of responsible yet doing nothing. I basically exist as a name that can be put against certain responsibilities.
I haven't had a normal job in so long... I don't even mind working. I'm just not in a position and it's hurting my bank account. How do I get bullshit job?
I do about 1 hours work a day. I need a side job to do during the day, my WFH job doesn't pay well.
>>59569403whats the role / position called? I want in
>>59569403How do you even get a job like this?
>>59569444>>59569460It doesn't exist. OP is a liar.
>>59569403>spread across multiple teams and areas of responsible yet doing nothingBased. Being spread around is absolutely the best position to be in. My boss officially told me to come in months ago, but never brought it up again (I went in twice and then never again). I think he doesn't know who to even ask or what the repercussions would be for firing me>>59569437trading obviously>>59569444>>59569460>>59569833No it happens and I'm sure OP is embellishing a little bit, you still need some base competency and momentum. Basically when everyone else is a retard that needs help with basic git commands you can sit around and unblock them and be seen as a god while doing so.
>>59569833There's plenty. Just work in admin for some badly run government entity like a local council.
spent all day playing pso1, only had one 30 minute meeting this morning. I love wfh.
>>59569403Have 3 meetings today, totaling an hour and a half. Only 1 of the meetings I'll need cam on. Then I have maybe 30 minutes of emailing to do. Lastly 45 mins to an hour of actual work. Cozy day.
>>59570041Sounds like minimum wage work.
>>59569403WFH sales here, my current company is imploding so for the past month I’ve been faking activity and collecting my base. A recruiter reached out to me a few weeks ago and I just got an offer for another WFH sales gig paying double LOL. I’m in my hot tub rn shit posting. Jesus is so good to me bros
>get laid off>search for 2 months>randomly get 2 remote jobs at once and accept both>decide to try the overemployment thing>unfortunately 1 of the jobs has an annoying micromanager and shitshow of a organization so I have to quit itwas really looking forward to like $280k a year too
>>59569433you kinda just happen upon oneyou have to get a regular job and just slowly build a reputation of getting a small amount of work donet. not work from home but spend half my day browsing this site in the office
>>59570284>unfortunately 1 of the jobs has an annoying micromanagerThis is done intentionally to shake out wage/time stealing faggots such as yourself. stop wasting headcount faggott. manager
if you can outlast a micro manager or find somewhere without one then it is very cozy. You'll be surprised how low the bar is for minimum required effort in a day. I do very little and used to feel bad but keep getting praised at my output. The cunts in the office somehow do even less.
My org is about to kill the hybrid work we had for the past few years, no more WFH at all. Time to find a new job. Not going to sit in the office so some manager feels better looking over everyone's shoulder all day long.
>>59570370Nah I had full intent to be productive and I get plenty done. If you think timewasting your entire team with 3 hours of meetings every day, making them fill out a bunch of needless procedural overhead kids menu bs for every work task they do is in any way helpful and not detrimental, talking over your leads and insisting on splitting hairs over every detail of what they're saying is useful, you're a retard too. You're supposed to delegate and direct at a high level and let the proper people do their thing, not sit there and waste half of their day while simultaneously asking why no deliverables are getting met. I was only there for a month and could tell the entire team was under duress, couldn't be me.
>>59570381They are all doing it solely to punish workers. There is literally no other purpose than sadism.
>>59570334Basically this. I was in a glorified "bullshit" job once. I spent a whole day browsing 4chan, pissing around with crypto, and playing games. Their systems were extremely out of date and never really logged anything, so you could get away with doing fuckall. I worked with a bunch of goodie goodie wagies at the time though, so they carried where I didn't work.
>>59570266You won't fly under the radar on a manager's salary.
I tried looking for these so called online jobs and they are basically a glorified video game quest board.Tons of odd jobs and payment isn't guaranteed or even specified how much at times.Actual companies have people on payrolls so this is avoided.
>>59569403based i only work a couple hours do nothing most the day
